Fish Killer Posts: 71439 Joined Forum: 10/09/2005	i just wanted to comment on what happened yesterday in the Oval Office. It's a VERY BIG DEAL! The Save Our Seas Act was signed into law. The legislation reauthorizes the National Ocean and Atmospheric Administration's program for cleaning up marine debris, especially the 80,000 tons of plastic floating in islands in the Pacific. That plastic weighs as much as 500 747 jets and it's finally going to get cleaned up after 20 years of talking about it and doing nothing. it's difficult to imagine the enormity of this plastic trash and its impact on marine creatures. Just very grateful something is finally being done about it! NO thanks to scumbag Obama!
