Tilray announced Tuesday that the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration would allow it to import a cannabinoid study drug to the U.S. for use in medical testing at the University of California-San Diego Center for Medicinal Cannabis Research. "Tilray is proud to support this crucial research," says Dr. Catherine Jacobson, director of clinical research at Tilray. "If this study can identify cannabinoids as a potential treatment for patients suffering from essential tremor, we can conduct further research and potentially provide alternative effective methods of relief for the high numbers of patients with ET." F that.. The American people have wizened up and put it on the ballot at the local level so that political games with legality of pot held hostage is not an opportunity for the legislators to make money under the table..
Most places its decriminalized anyway.. Anyone wanting to keep it illegal is more likely on the take with the criminals wanting to keep it illegal and protect their turf..

Actually yes, it is a really big deal. Changing the classification of cannabis and decriminalizing it at a federal level changes how the legal businesses operate, do taxes, do banking, etc. This will be a game changer for the better. ------------------------- Specializing in sarcasm and condescending rhetoric since 1971. |
