Trade deficit is inevitable when we are the richest, biggest spenders on ephemera, poorest investors in the future, and the worst savers,
Tariffs are always the worst way to try and fix that. That never works.
They just help out a few, while making the rest of us poorer.

Trumps stupid tariffs are not about reducing trade deficits, they are just paybacks to inefficient industries that gave him money and swing state votes.
