Total bullshit

We have the best system that attempts to put us back together agrain after we take a 'Hupmty Dupty' fall - and make us a pain pill popping country like no other around -

This also serves to keep big pharmas on the top shelf

The statistical tale of the tape per the WHO keeps un on par with Costa Rica and Cuba - like it or not those are the raw facts boys and girls..

i have a hunch that both of them pay a pittance compared to us!

Feel like a 'winner' yet? Should feel like a fool..

until we get on board we will continue not being to compete globally and going to the bottom of the barrel..

Time is not on our side as a nation period.

Unless you own enough shares in health care related companies to make up for the increasing costs of (don't) 'care', you personally are fucked..

Even getting on medicare won't save you - the 'supplementals' are ridiculous BS also - but it helps ease the pain.

I pay $850 a month for a high deductible and high copay plan - 4 years to m'care. Even if your employer pays for them, don't fool yourself, it's coming out of your pocket.

See what you young folk are looking forward to!

vote republican!

30% of healthcare costs are administrative.

1.4 Billion is spent annually by the insurance lobby making sure that Congress looks busy but don't actually do anything that would hurt their revenue stream.

2.5 million people in FL have no health insurance.

40,000 Americans die annually because they can't get care or can't afford medicine.

64% of voters support single payers, including 40% of trump voters I'm told.

This is the one that floored me - 60% of Americans don't have $1,000 in the bank if they suddenly were sick or injured.

And of course we know that medical bills are the #1 cause of consumer bankruptcy.

It's time to support Medicare for All. Comprehensive, inclusive, free at the point of care.

You can do something. Ask your candidate or representative if they support Medicare for All before you give them your vote.

While I think we can agree that the health care system is broken, I am not a fan of this for two reasons:

1. The money has to come from somewhere and it will be our pockets.

2. Rememeber, the government is Big Pharma and the Insurance companies. I do not think it would be in our best interest to let them make decisions/control our healthcare, with their best interest in mind intead of ours.

The only true answer is to look in the mirror regarding you're own party, stop the partisan bullshit and identity politics, reject the narrative, and start uniting for a repeal of Citizen's United and term limits.

We have got to rember this truth:

Obie, the insurance companies already make decisions about covering expenses for medical treatments.

Sometimes they say no when a doctor's recommendation is yes.

Seniors love their Medicare.

I have never heard anyone (rich, poor, or middleclass) complain about being elgible for medicare when they reach 65.

Even my super conservative Doc who was raised in and escaped from an ex- Soviet bloc country now wishes for a single payer system.  They are disgusted by the insurance companies.

At least a basic medicare for all should be part of our culture.  As a top tier country we should be proud that we can provide health care for everybody here.  Just as we are proud of our education system.

It's already coming from your pocket. Single payer is cheaper.

The government is ours, we stand by and allow big pharma to manipulate the system and us, but that doesn't have to be the case. It always amazes me when people will trust capitalists over their own government that they can vote for.
You can get involved, you can vote, you can even run for office.

You keep thinking that I or some of these guys are big "D' Democrats. I was an independent before 2016, and registered democrat to vote for Bernie. I'm still in so I can vote for my local candidates. Not guys bought by big pharma, I'm talking about the dude down the street. If you want to do something then vote for Sanjay Patel for congress.

I remain a socialist, but I will vote for those who represent my values.

You and some of these guys are caught up in the culture war that consistently gets you to vote against your own best interests.
