When is Trump and the TeaParty going to give the people the full market based health care industry that they promised. No government handouts. No tax breaks. No rules forcing any provider to provide any service to anyone that can't pay. Full free market supply and demand. When is that coming? It was promised. I want to see it.

It takes time to un-do the damage you ASSHOLES created!

You shitheads are imbedded through out the government.

It's going to take some time to out all of you ASSHOLES!

FACT!

Time?

They are doing nothing.

With the stroke of a pen they could aleviate the government forced burden on insurance companies of having to cover people with pre-existing conditions.

I want ACA left alone, it has helped a profound number of people
Repealing the utterly necessary dodd-frank legislation is very foolish.
When bush let these pigshit banks and securities dirtbags off the hook. After they destroyed the american economy. He gave them billions in bailout money. And huge zero interest loans, to "stimulate" the economy, so they might start lending devatated american home owners and business owners a way back to normal.
They simply kept the money, collecting interest on it, refused to do any loans.
That yuuge wasted, useless fat cat giveaway. To the maggots who created the meltdown in the first place.....
A fraction of that wasted money could easily fund the ACA.
And then you idiots allowed putin to install herr chumpf.......
duuhhhh.....

We know the ACA helped and would have do so with even more efficiently if Republicans hadn't failed to implement important parts of the law, but that doesn't matter now....Trump and his useless clowns have castrated the law and it's death struggle will create a major disruption in the health market, which will hit many Trump voters squarely in the pocketbook. They, the Republicans, have killed it, yet they offer no alternative, the resulting chaos will bring us closer to single payer than we have ever been before and those who once thought Trump could do now wrong might vote for their own best interest instead of for the candidate promoted by their media overlords.

You declared victory. GOP owns all future problems in the market.

Leaving in the provision that forces insurance companies to insure people with pre-existing conditions while removing the individual mandate assures that the market will fail and leave a lot of people hanging.

The increases in cost would have been offset by the subsidies and those subsidies were predicted to cost roughly $200 billion over the next decade. It's funny that you bitched about that cost, even though it was for the benefit of the American people, but you don't say boo about the $1.5 trillion give away to big business.

I don't know if you have ever bothered to look, but $750 a month for a silver plan in today's market is a pretty good deal. My company pays about $1,000 a month for a pretty shitty HSA. Now we have to contend with the Trump/Republican failure to pass any healthcare legislation while cutting the Achilles of the current plan; this won't end well.

BALD FACED LIE!

Better go back and post what the AUTHOR of the farce said!

He didnt mince words....TOTALLY UNSUSTAINABLE!

Even Harry Reid admitted that the plan would collapse, only to usher in a truly-socialized single payer health care system from the ashes.

MORON!

"Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D., Nev.) was asked whether his goal was to move Obamacare to a single-payer system. His answer? "Yes, yes. Absolutely, yes." (Source)"

Failure of Republican states to use the Medicaid expansion was the start of the undoing and that was from the very beginning. Republicans wanted Obamacare to fail and did everything in their power to make it happen.

What I can't understand is their and your hatred and desire that the people of the United States not have affordable insurance? Isn't the health of society the very backbone of a solid republic? The wealthy have the best healthcare and the less fortunate suffer? That's pretty effed up, isn't it? And don't go wasting my time by saying Republicans wanted something better, they didn't or they wouldn't have voted to kill the law dozens of times without a working replacement.

No, Obamacare wasn't perfect, but then again, Medicare still isn't and it's gone through hundreds of changes since it's inception. Now we are stuck with Trump's answer. EVERYONE should be very worried, the health market is going to blow.

What part of YOUR FULL OF SHIT dont you understand?!?!

Fucking IDIOT!

Dems in denial on why ObamaCare premiums are through the roof
By Betsy McCaughey
May 16, 2018 | 7:46pm | Updated

Meet the businesses the Supreme Court may be about to crush
America has a health insurance problem because politicians would rather lie about it than solve it.

ObamaCare regulations caused premiums for people buying their own insurance to more than double between 2013 and 2017, then soar even higher in 2018. With huge hikes predicted again in 2019, ObamaCare will have caused premiums to triple in six years. Ouch. But instead of telling the truth about why this is happening, politicians are dishing out lies.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is already announcing what he's going to do about the hikes: "We Democrats are going to be relentless in making sure the American people exactly understand who is to blame for the rates."

He means pinning the blame on President Trump and the Republican Congress. Don't buy it.

Independent insurance experts point to the flawed provisions of the Affordable Care Act that drive premiums skyward year after year. Never mind who's in the White House.

The biggest cause, according to McKinsey management consultants, is ObamaCare's rule forcing healthy people to pay the same premiums as sick people. Before ObamaCare, people in most states buying in the individual market paid premiums that varied depending on their own expected medical needs. Not anymore. Now they're being coerced into paying the medical bills of the chronically ill.

Five percent of the population consumes almost 50 percent of the health care, but under ObamaCare, everyone pays the same premium. Few would volunteer for such a scheme. That's why ObamaCare uses force. You buy or you get fined.

Despite soaring premiums, consumers are getting lower-quality coverage than before ObamaCare. McKinsey finds insurers are restricting choices of doctors and hospitals. Major cancer hospitals are off-limits to many plans. If you're seriously ill, getting medications you need - such as Copaxone to treat M.S. - can be nearly impossible, according to researchers from Harvard Medical School and the University of Texas.

Enter Trump. With Congress stymied, Trump is changing federal insurance regulations to help sticker-shocked consumers. Some 20 million people who can't afford ObamaCare are either incurring the penalty for not having it or getting an exemption.

Trump's changes will allow consumers to pay according to their own health needs, and to buy 12-month plans without costly extras like maternity coverage and pediatric dental coverage that are mandatory (even for single guys) in ObamaCare plans.
Trump also pledged to eliminate the penalty, and the new tax reform law does that in 2019.

Schumer and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi say Trump's moves "sabotage" the Affordable Care Act and "jack up costs and premiums for millions of middle-class Americans." Another lie. You'd have to have amnesia to think premium hikes are a new problem.

Democrats are making a big deal over the Congressional Budget Office estimate that eliminating the penalty will add 10 percent to next year's premiums. Ten percent - trivial compared with increases we've seen since 2013 and huge hikes forecast this fall. CareFirst in Maryland is proposing a jaw-dropping 91 percent hike.

This explosive problem is fixable. Every Republican proposal to replace ObamaCare would pay the medical bills of people with pre-existing conditions out of general revenues - not abandoning them, but lifting the burden off consumers in the individual market and spreading it more broadly.

Sadly, Congress failed to act. The good news is that eight states are moving ahead, using that same solution to undo the worst effects of ObamaCare's pricing rules and provide premium relief for people in their states.

Schumer seems exultant over the rate hikes, missing no opportunity to repeat the lie, "President Trump and congressional Republicans are fully responsible." For Schumer and other Dems, soaring premiums are about politics. They're not suffering, because members of Congress get a sweetheart insurance deal for life.

They should be trying to solve the problem for everyone else, instead of lying about it.

"Five percent of the population consumes almost 50 percent of the health care, but under ObamaCare, everyone pays the same premium.

FALSE.  You can pay more or less based on the quality of coverage / deductible / doctor network

"Trump's changes will allow consumers to pay according to their own health needs, and to buy 12-month plans without costly extras like maternity coverage and pediatric dental coverage that are mandatory (even for single guys) in ObamaCare plans."

FALSE....  I pay as a single guy and do not pay for that sort of coverage (don't even have dental coverage for myself... I just pay the dentist out of pocket)

They should be trying to solve the problem for everyone else, instead of lying about it.....

TRUE..... to  bad this whole piece is more of your typical inaccurate cut-n-paste BS.... (and I think the ACA was a mess)

Had Republicans helped, America wouldn't be saddled with a 90% increase.

Republicans have total control, they can do anything they want, not to mention that they had an open invitation to join in on drafting the ACA legislation.

The below is absolute fact.

Uhhhh.... There's a republican "President", House and Senate..... and still no solution
