It will also make China very happy. It's typically the right wing hawks who love these demonstrations of American military power in the South China Sea. If Obama had met with Kim and unilaterally cancelled the exercises, heads would explode on Faux News. Sucks that China is laughing hysterically and counting the trillion they're going to bag off this circus, but it's better than bombing. We've been good at keeping the Kim family in check. Now e just have to keep that stupid orange thing we call a president in line. If dangling a Nobel carrot at it is enough, good.
