"I don't think guns are the problem - I think people are the problem," Carvey, 16, a student at Santa Fe High School, said. "Even if we did more gun laws, people who are sick enough to do something like this are still going to figure out a way to do it. So it doesn't matter." Eh, but nobody is doing this with anything other than guns.

So you get a couple kids cherrypicked out of a whole school of terrified teens to interview.

Something tells me that had there been an AR-15 in Santa Fe..

Kids tend to reflect the views of their parents, but like the man said, you could pick out kids from either place to support whatever view you want to promote.

Since NRA folks are so 'responsible', there should not be any issue with some accountability laws being put on the books. This kids dad should have his gun rights revoked and he should be doing jail time.

Yep, this needs to be treated like terrorism; if you are complicit or negligent, you too are responsible.

I wonder how many people were carrying in the school, in addition to the police officers.

Sure... very valid if this was from Fox News. NBC generally cherry picks the anti gun statements. Surprising this was from them, but not too surprising given the location of the school and if it actually reflects reality that couldn't be spun.

Speaking of kids and guns, here's two cute gun tragedies from today:

Members of our well regulated militia allow their 2 year old son access to a loaded gun, he shoots himself with it. They put him in the car and drive until they find a police officer who gets the boy to a hospital, but he dies from his gunshot wound.

A member of our well regulated militia allows two young boys access to a loaded gun. The 4 year old boy thinks it's a toy and points it at his 2 year old brother and fires it at him, killing him.

Tragedies happen when parents are negligent. Are they being prosecuted?

More making crap up. The guy bashes media so hard for twisting the truth yet he fabricates on a daily basis.

I've proven many times he makes stuff up. He just did it right here. This just proves you just don't like my point of view. Anyway, Like 50% of his crap is speculation and fabrication. He posts a news story where NBC reports it how it was yet they "cherry pick." Different parts of the country will have different responses. Nothing new here. Not jilted at all. Just calling out BS. Miker happens to have most of it on here and it is very apparent hypocrisy to top it off. It's very consistent as well. Sure he has some nice ideas but not much of it is reality fact based, just speculation and fabrication. Call me whatever you want. But where's the proof? They reported what they got, not cherry picked. (Lie) Just because in another town there is a different result he doesn't like it is considered "fake news" to him. SMH Just cause you don't like it doesn't mean its media manipulated. This is a big problem right now, and he is perpetuating it. Also, if you don't want to see my responses, ignore option is available. Talk about jilted.

Says the guy that initiates banter via off topic derogatory comments. If you ask me, I think you got a thing for him. Always standing up for him. It's OK, nothing wrong with that.
