I enjoyed the first episode for the nostalgia, but by the second it seemed to be trying to legitimize trumpism while parodying progressive resistance wrapped up in a PC made for TV package that wouldn't "trigger" anyone.

The original show had an underbelly of darkness that I found too depressing.

Life is hard enough, I don't care to see it amplified on the television.

As far as the Trump stuff, they are walking a thin line. Any wrong move by the show and it's pandemonium in the Trump snowflake sphere. A red cup riot.

Same here Cole about the show in the past.  Dingy drapes and couches with worn crocheted blankets tossed over them. Plus, and this is straight hater, obesity.  A dim view of America though likely somewhat accurate. 

As for the new show perhaps the Twitler supporters are going to spend the season realizing that thier votes were counter to human decency.  Red cups for sure.  The same dopes that spread racist hate on the NFL.

 

I'll take the dingy drapes over 40 somethings living in Orange County who don't appear to have jobs raising self absorbed barbie kids.

Worksux, I think you misread, we are talking about a show from 20 years ago. The only TV I watch these days is soccer games, Jeopardy, Antiques Road Show and Father Brown on occasion, oh and bad science fiction when I can find it. If the new Rosanne show scores a hit, more power to them, but it ain't my cup of tea.

Yes WSGS a week at Kim Yemma's place near Popoyo.  The surf was just head high while there but I got more whacks than a scout troop after the leader shows them an X-rated movie.  School is the way! 

Cole, Trailer Park Shark is in the stellar selection at Cooca Beach Library right now, I think Sharon Cranston has it checked out...

Anybody watching the new lost in space on netflix? I'm down to the last episode.

I couldn't get into the new Lost in Space, it let me down.

But I am enjoying The Expanse, and I'm hoping it gets picked up or extended.

Yes weak hack but it was my first session after surfing our stuff for too long!
