$25B comes to about $76 per citizen.
Debt is currently about $64,250 per citizen.
The money could indeed be better spent,
but would anyone notice the missing 21 cents per day per person for a wall?

Spending is so out of control now (due to accumulated abuse)
with respect to collections, that you can add almost anything
to the budget and say nobody will notice individual increases,
only the total.

How come they didn't show the model that Mexico was paying for?
