Or, at least, he needs notes that remind him of how to show empathy to those who have just been in a school shooting...
https://www.popsugar.com/news/...ening-Session-44606934 The first visible bullet point seemed reasonable - prompting Trump to ask, "What would you want me to know about your experience?" - but it's the fifth point that really had our jaws on the floor: a reminder to say, "I hear you." Yes, you read that correctly: the 45th sitting president of the United States (one who felt it necessary to get "45" stitched on his shirt cuff) needed to be reminded to feel empathy for those who just lived through an unimaginable tragedy, one that has driven hundreds of thousands of teenagers across the country to speak out against gun violence and countless others to renew cries for legislation and reform. And twitter has a field day about it... https://www.yahoo.com/news/twe...ie-apos-095555217.html ------------------------- GOP: Gaslight Obstruct Project |

Some of the tweets:
> It's really sad that Trump needed someone to write down "I hear you" for him to remember to try and show empathy for those impacted by gun violence. > Literally needs to be spoon-fed words that project empathy. A profoundly defective human being. > The fact that President Trump needed a note card to remind him to say "I hear you" to survivors of school shootings, proves to me that he's a psychopath with no capacity for empathy. This isn't a joke. We have a psychopath running our country! > This list is like a cheat sheet you'd give to an alien who was trying to pass off as a human with empathy > Trump can't even remember why he's in the room and needs a note telling him to pretend he's listening. Literally has a cheat sheet saying I hear you. Show me a dumber human and it's likely a tree. > The president sat in his chair. A group of survivors was there. He looked at a note An aide of his wrote And thus was reminded to care. > Barack Obama sang "amazing grace" at a funeral in Charleston and Donald Trump needs a fucking cheat card to show empathy. > To help him simulate human reactions, Trump's minders gave him a cheat sheet that prompted him to say things like "I hear you" during the WH listening session on the #Parkland shootings. > Maybe if we had "Be a better president" on his hand it would work? > "Don't forget to show human emotions like a real human" > There is no page to turn. There IS no Presidential moment for trump to rise to. You can't teach empathy. You can't teach decency. You either have it, or you don't. Having to write "I Hear You" as an emotion to share is sad. It's also A LIE. ------------------------- GOP: Gaslight Obstruct Project |

I don't think that is his handwriting, either. His "aid" just wanted to make sure he didn't forget to act human. I give the "aid" credit for being effective and not letting him get too far off the leash on this one. Free Range T-Rump could say almost anything in this situation. ------------------------- If I should ever die, God forbid, let this be my epitaph: THE ONLY PROOF HE NEEDED FOR THE EXISTENCE OF GOD WAS MUSIC - KV |
