So: no Chumpf U. economics scholars want to dispute Mr. Bloomberg's information?
Maybe they'll show some stones and dispute the posts coming from Mr. David Stockman. Remember him ignorant chumpfdirts?
He's the guy who created the "trickle down" theory for reagan.
Which led to record deficits. And which he has disowned ever since.
I'll post his views on this current pigshit chumpfdirt tax scam.
And it aint no "fake news" dumshits, this is reagans economic architect.

Michael Bloomberg isn't an economist, but he's a competent businessman and politician with a good grasp of economics in particular and realtity in general.

Bloomberg Businessweek is actually worth reading.

I must beg to differ. If you actually read Professor Bloomberg's many enlightened treatises on economics, i dont think there's an academician anywhere who is qualified to sniff his heinie.
He just happens to also practice what he preaches

Bloomberg wrote this piece on December 15th of 2017. I wonder if he would have the same opinion now that Apple and 16 other corporate giants have decided to repatriate hundreds of billions of dollars and move tens of thousands of jobs to the United States?

Bloomberg also says that corporations aren't just going to give employees raises. Wonder how he would respond to the fact that over 80 major corporations have already given their employees raises, improved benefits, or ramped up hiring?

Seems like you posted some old news that was designed to scare people into not supporting Trump's tax reform. Unfortunately, many of the boogeymen that Bloomberg warned you about in his piece have already been proven to be false.

The tax plan isn't even a month old, I wouldn't discount the predictions just yet.

There will be great short term benefits this year, but unless you start with the premise that concentrating more wealth in fewer hands is great for average Americans, those short term benefits will fade into a long term failure to collect revenues that will starve the government, force cuts in education, healthcare, social security and all of the things that wealthy people can't be forced to care about once they are not forced to pay taxes to support it.

They have to cut Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid or their plan will plummet the US into debt. It's part of their plan.

http://www.cnn.com/2018/01/23/...try-voters/index.html

"While President Donald Trump relentlessly claims credit for the strengthening economy, the nation's economic growth is being driven overwhelmingly by the places that are most resistant to him.

Counties that voted for Hillary Clinton against Trump in 2016 accounted for nearly three-fourths of the nation's increased economic output and almost two-thirds of its new jobs in the years leading up to his election, according to previously unpublished findings provided to CNN by the Metropolitan Policy Program at the Brookings Institution."

Capitalism is based on the ridiculous notion that you can enjoy limitless growth in a closed, finite system.

In biology, such behavior of cells is called "cancer".
