This will result in EVERY SINGLE APPLE EMPLOYEE getting a $2500.00 bonus, a new call center here in America that will employ 20,000 people, and best of all- 38 BILLION in tax revenue that we would never have seen without it.

Florida Power & Light won't be passing on Hurricane Irma repair costs to ratepayers after all.

Instead, the utility is applying the tax savings its getting from new federal tax reform to the costs of recovering from Hurricane Irma.

FPL says its actions will save each of its 4.9 million customers an average of about $250, money which would have gone to the $1.3 billion needed to restore the utilities infrastructure back to normal following last September's Hurricane Irma.

The tax cut is too much. It can't survive. Reagan cut less and ended up raising taxes more that any other president. They should have started at a 5% cut then gone from there.
