Here is the source article for the Aziz Ansari incident.
Link

Here is one commentary on it by Ashleigh Banfield
Link

Personally, I would have to agree with most of what Banfield had to say about it. At what point in time is it on the woman to say something if she is uncomfortable and ask a guy who very clearly had the wrong idea to stop?

to me that seems like her fault, if something is happening, or appears to be about to happen walk away, run away, and whatever you do- dont do this,

"Ansari instructed her to turn around. "He sat back and pointed to his *dingdong and motioned for me to go down on him. And I did. I think I just felt really pressured. It was literally the most unexpected thing I thought would happen at that moment because I told him I was uncomfortable."

Why this is even newsworthy is beyond me.....

She could of left, she could have stopped, she could have been more direct..... a million other things. She most certainly was not sexually assaulted.

I went to school with Aziz. I've hung out with him since he became famous. In public, he's kind of shy and is often harassed for selfies, so I could see the rush to get out of the restaurant. I haven't spoken to him lately, certainly not since these articles, but I would have to imagine there was likely a week of sexy texty banter that probably got him revved up and ready for a fun night. Clearly she went along with things and got pretty deep in the situation before making it obvious to him that she was over it. Excuse my insensitivity to the situation, but the D-pointing and the mirror move had me dying! Classic.

I have been watching a thread on FB where mutual friends, many of whom are liberal feminist types, felt that this is a case of a bad date or bad sex and that the woman should have made it very clear. Sure he could have been more sensitive to things, but I want to bet that she had set the stage for a pretty wild night and that's what had him revved up for sex. I think many women don't understand the effects of sexual teasing on a man. Nothing like getting the hormones pumping to shut blood off to the main brain.

All in all, I feel bad for both. She was clearly upset, and he clearly had expectations ...he probably behaved poorly on some levels, but it was not assault and not worth his private life being exposed as such.

Glad I'm not famous.

That is the very definition of ambivalence. I see both perspectives. From an outside view, she seems to have said and done conflicting things. He seems to have pressed when he should have fallen back. It's a very close call.

Maybe we need a consent form.

She musta been askeert of missing out on an opportunity that would further her career if she told him no. Hussies have never had a problem telling me to back off. If they didn't, then tally HO.

Any young person in the social scene needs to be aware that casual sex, particularly when alcohol is involved, can be extremely risky.

Someone who over indulges, then engages in sex, may have no memory of their consent, or be ashamed of their actions, and protest that they were victims. It's unfortunate, but it's true.

It happened to a buddy of mine in college, and the only thing that saved his ass was that his roommate was awake (dormitory) and could confirm his story that the post-bar hopping encounter was consensual.

In this climate, the risk is amplified tenfold.

There was no no. There was no yes. No did not mean no and there was no yes to mean yes.

They keep pulling me back!!!

So if you're out on the prowl looking for a ho
You want a firm yes cuz no means means no
But getting the lay of the land is always shades of grey
Grey at night is black and white in the light of the next day

So how does one point his poker in the down to f era?
Are you filming it, recording or having your roommate stare at ya?
All of these safeguards can really kill the fun
But get lost in a drunk horny moment then you're one and done

In the end, it's sublime that reminds us with that date rape line:
I can't take pity on men of his kind
Even though he now takes it in the behind...

You can't resist. You interjected your lame response in area you had no interest in. You're like the homeless mentally ill guy that forces his way into the conversation. You take offense at everything, you offer nothing and you are perpetually, aggressively ignorant. I have fileted this rotten junk fish enough times to know it's not even good for bait. Carrion without me.

A+ stuff right there.

Filet o Fish Killer, if you came up with an original line like that, the world would stop. The truth? You are nothing more than a fat parrot. A bald, "238" pound mimic machine.
