You are correct in a way. The PiC's idiotic economic policies held back the economy so badly that when someone who knew what he was doing came in, the economy was bound to pop. Hence, we have a record stock market, record confidence and the fewest jobless claims in 44 years. Mind you, we would have had all of that much earlier if we had had a halfway competent president instead of the PiC (it takes some serious incompetence to have the slowest growth coming out of a recession since the Depression).

I also think that that stock market crash prediction was based upon the idea that Trumps election would mean some of his agenda would be enacted.
Mexican wall, tariffs, protectionist populist rhetoric about bad deals, Muslim bans.

None of that dumb shit is happening, not gonna happen.
Globalist investors are much less alarmed because so much of the stupid Trump agenda has failed or been blocked.
