If you want to know what this protest about, you ask the protesters

"Because it disrespects our Military". Doesn't wash. The star spangled banner isn't our military. The flag isn't our military. The military doesn't fight for these symbols, they fight for what they supposed to represent. No NFL protester has ever bashed the military, even mentioned it. They protest because they think that we are failing to live up to the ideals. . None will say it's about the disrespecting thee military how we are failing them by not living up to what we say they are fighting for.

The NFL just approved it so that point is moot. Saying you respect the military but do not like when someone protests when they are allowed to do so is just hypocritical. The military fights and dies for that exact reason. We'd be dishonoring the fallen heroes not to exercise said right.
