Are you indirectly implying that white people watch football games differently than black people and are likely to have hemorrhoids because of it?

No, I think he is just directly refering to the common knowledge that people who have lived long lives with sticks up their asses regarding "race" probably face some consequences in the personal comfort area.

Lots of people, many here, are propagating the lie that BLM is violent.

For a long time BLM had no organization or leadership and they very same people in support of the movement were the same people vandalizing, burning, and looting during protests .

So BLM is an example of some angry people who were vandalizing, burning, and looting but then organized to give up that tactic for nonviolent protest and finally got the public to listen?

I was not aware of this history.
Show me this.

edit-
maybe I read that wrong.
Are you saying that the people who were looting burning and vandalizing (past tense) are the very same people who now support the peaceful movement?

is either of those a negative?

Nah, you are only saying that because it currently supports your agenda. Entertainers employed by a company have to play by the company's rules. NFL players are contract employees working for a company (team). They are not self employed entertainers working for themselves.

We have seen numerous on air personalities lose their jobs at the companies they work for because of their biased opinions, choice of wording, or behavior that hurts their company's bottom line. NFL players are no different.

I am all for them protesting, on their own time. I watch the NFL for entertainment, not for politics.

It's not about you Mike. Watch or don't, nobody cares.

Well I guess this topic doesn't matter anymore. Ya'll are going to have to put up with it from here on out.

"NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, NFL team owners, players and others met Tuesday to discuss recent issues and tensions over kneeling during the national anthem. The end result? Players can still take a knee without getting penalized. Of course this isn't sitting well with Donald Trump. Even though there is a lot going on in the world... he tweeted about it bright and early today saying, "The NFL has decided that it will not force players to stand for the playing of our National Anthem. Total disrespect for our great country!""

I'd bet the NFL and the teams lose no ratings whatsoever. 'Merica loves its football.

Respect for the country.

Trump: ...we have a one percent GDP [growth].
[A bugler begins playing "Retreat" in the background.]
Trump: ...now I have to tell you, for the last quarter, you had three percent -
Hannity: Three-two -
Trump: And actually, three-two, they adjusted it upward. [Turns around] What a nice sound that is. Are they playing that for you or for me? [To the crowd] They're playing that in honor of his ratings, did you see how good is ratings? He's beating everybody!
[Some of the crowd laugh, cheer and applaud, some do not respond.]

Hannity: I think they'll be higher tonight, I'm just guessing.
[Bugler continues to play "Retreat."]
Trump: So the fact is that we really - we're really rocking.
[In the background, a large section of the crowd stands up.]

He's in a hangar so no requirement to stop and pay respect.

But damn. He's joking about the Retreat.

So he's either glibly joking about it or he, the Commander in Chief, didn't know what he was hearing.

Wow.

NFL: We are calling attention to unarmed black men being shot down in the streets by the very authority charged with protecting their lives.

White People: Why do you hate the military?

Hahahahahahah!

That BULLSHIT will happen right up until Goodell and the OWNERS lose a boatload of cash....ie: millions from their OWN pockets.

Then things will take a serious abrupt 180.

FACT!

That day is coming very soon.

How come sports cannot provide the same service. They have huge platforms with their fanbase on social media, use that play ball or I dont watch. Its that simple

Horse manure. Better you don't watch. Maybe there's some bowling on.

Nah, no footbal fanatic is going to skip watching their favorite manly game because of some dude takin a knee. If they did, they know they'd be considered a snowflake sissy boy. Plus you can't kill addiction with takin a knee. Sports addicts will be sports addicts, something to talk about on ESPN pre game and post game shows.

If everybody's so upset about the players standing up for a cause, what's up with all the pink for breast cancer awareness.

It's a cause. It's a popular cause, because, boobies, but hey.

The NFL isn't a stranger to causes.

Maybe they should stand up for that cause then.

What's so disrespectful about taking a knee? It's not the finger. It's not turning their backs to the flag. It's not shouting over the anthem. It's not vandalizing the flag or flag pole. It's not walking out. It's not hurting anyone. Standing during the anthem, like you say, would just be hidden. That's exactly where white people want this protest, hidden. Ultimately they're kneeling because white people don't listen, and the white argument is that the people taking a knee hate the military. That's literally the argument. So ridiculous. We know that's not the case because the military fights for the rights of civilians. Protesting actually honors the constitution and the military that protects it. Service members swear to uphold the constitution. It's the very first thing they do. So the military argument is a moot point. The more they argue the knee taking the more it is apparent they are ignoring the oppressed. But now it's gone so far beyond ignorance, it's blatant hate IMO. Luckily the NFL leaders see it for what it is and support their players. Now the owners of the private organizations have spoken out about how they will run their business. The argument that the players need to follow rules is over too. They are allowed to kneel. Fans can boycott it if they want, but it is their hang up now as it has become a legit part of the game.

No, knucklehead, subsidies for the NFL are and always have been socialism. You're posting that because you see it is a negative of the knee taking so therefore you are for it. Hence you are for socialism. Unless you posted it because you are glad to see it possibly go. I don't see you doing that that though. You posted it to show a possible consequence. Therefore you're a fan of socialism. As for the bong, I don't do any drugs especially pot. I hate smoke of all forms, you're wrong again.

Boy, if I had posted that idiocy, I sure wouldn't have admitted that I didn't use drugs.

Another unfounded statement, just because you don't like it. Sports subsidies are in fact socialism just like our military is. Posting a link saying that the government will take away said subsidies to prove a point means the OP has some attachment to socialism, otherwise they would not post it. But since you are so "smart" please explain the idiocy here. I'll bet you will avoid this question and you'll dissapear until it is way back into the thread, like you always do. hahaha
