BUMP, all this Bergal talk, has anyone heard the reasons he deserted?

Wiki had a letter to his parents where he explained he was ashamed to be America, and stories of Army service men bragging about running Afghanistan children over in their armored vehicles.......

Wish I could learn more to make a better choice on how I feel about this case, as I may have deserted if those circumstances were true.
