It's a striking story.  Of course Trump keeps undercutting Tillerson, who has been unable to fill ambassadorships and many other vacancies.   The normal functioning of the State Department seems badly disrupted.  

At last check, more than 1,000 posts and positions remained open in the Trump administration, many still having no obvious candidates.

The FEMA director was approved 11 hours before the third tropical system of the season made landfall.

Trump Leaving 1100 jobs unfilled
