That is almost correct. There is no proposal to slash grandma's Medicaid. Grandma is not on Medicaid, she is on Medicare, which is not involved. On the other hand, we Joe six packs are very much in favor of denying Medicaid to lazy, prog bums. And We are certainly down with tax cuts for the rich that will give us more jobs.

You own a law firm. Your current staff are comfortable handling the caseload.

You receive a tax cut.

Will you post an ad for a new paralegal because of your tax cut?

No. But, I would either spend or invest the extra money. Either way, someone else benefits. Now change the scenario to where we are all busting our ass and really need a new paralegal, but can't get one because I wouldn't be able to buy the expensive beer I like. Then I would hire a new paralegal if tax cuts put more money in my pocket.
