Even though it comes from the despicable Trumpist apologist Theissen, so I didn't read it all, your first link title does make a point, although identification of Israel as the source was a few days after, so maybe the damage control after Trumps big mistake was able to save the agents life. The second was readable and also points to a lack of trust ability somewhere. The press should still always try and get to the truth though.

Whoever leaked this detail may have caused real harm, but not necessarily more than the President did with his initial brag.

I don't think that leaking evidence of crimes is the same though, and don't generally see "the leakers" as the problem WRT the Trump teams treason.
