I'm all for fiscal responsibility. Lots of things in the Federal budget are there because they have been there. Pork on top of pork for generations.

Too bad der fuher and the repug house and senate cant even do simple math , let alone construct a trillion $ budget.

In der fuher's mind its just a negotiation. So fuher says cut the budget by 40%. Congress says cut by 5%. Fuher says cut by 35%, congress says 10%. Back and forth , back and forth. McConnell grows a forth chin. Ryan's hair recedes. They just stall out, until the fuher is gone. ( one way or the other).

Where is the infrastructure rebuild?

It's simply a Republican wet dream screw the poor so we can give tax cuts to the rich budget.
Zero chance of passage of anything like this.

Imagine how good this budget could be at reshaping government if it didn't cow tow so much to the wealthy? Without the big tax cuts to the richest he could have really reshaped government by proposing a surplus in revenue over spending. Now that would be historic. TRump blew it.

But tax cuts to the rich was whole point.

We should be screwing the poor. They contribute next to nothing to this country. Actually, they are a drain. Until they get off their butts and start making a positive contribution, they deserve to get screwed.'' All poor get screwed, always have been and always will be. They need to get un-poor if they want something better.

But, you are probably right in saying that it has no chance. We need to replace those weak kneed Republicans with some true conservatives.

The budget doesn't screw the poor, it screws everyone but the very rich. It assumes a 3% growth rate for ten years. Assumes is the kindest word a world with increasing automation, the planned destruction of Obama care in favor of "choke on it, create some wealth and quit your rich bashing" GOP plan. The budget eliminates many of the programs like food stamps and Medicaid and has a work requirement in a new post industrial world that has become increasingly more automated. Defense spending cannot get you there or keep you there. Isolationism is also not a recipe for growth. The GOP base has been bamboozled into believing that they are the rich, they will benefit from these giveaways and the poor deserve their poverty. Its literally the party line.

The poor here do deserve their poverty. The progs actively keep them poor, and many of the poor keep voting for them. Who can be sympathetic to dumbass losers like that?

Careful, that's the lion's share of your MAGA base. Cut them off and they may come running to Bernie.

"Apparently, the budget forecasts that U.S. economic growth will rise to 3.0 percent because of the administration's policies - largely its tax cuts and perhaps also its regulatory policies. Fair enough if you believe in tooth fairies and ludicrous supply-side economics.

Then the administration asserts that it will propose revenue neutral tax cuts with the revenue neutrality coming in part because the tax cuts stimulate growth! This is an elementary double count. You can't use the growth benefits of tax cuts once to justify an optimistic baseline and then again to claim that the tax cuts do not cost revenue. At least you cannot do so in a world of logic."

But ya'll voted for this lying sack of shit because he is a "good businessman".

"a logical error of the kind that would justify failing a student in an introductory economics course."

and constantly brags on what a success he isnt, nor is his multi bankrupted mob influenced thrice divorced (oh wait, the third one's a comin') uncle daddy. a fat, unhappy, profoundly stupid AND ignorant illiterate goon.
and then theres chumpf....

the actual republican conservatives (not the fringe element chumpf scum loonies) now just ignore blubbering lil dawnuld duhhhk. and will create their own budget, and everything else they plan.
they actually have real constituents to worry about. who are making their disgust and distrust abundantly clear these days.

I think your phrase "idiot congressional Republicans" leads you to the most likely outcome.

80% of medicaid goes to children, the disabled and the elderly.

I'm certainly glad I don't live in that piece of shit world Trumpablo lives in.

Damn right they are. We want to get rid of them. The progs want to create more of them. That's the big difference.
