And here we have the effective limits of going for the crazy unpredictable persona to keep your friends and frenemies guessing. The guess is supposed to be that our frenemies assume the worst case scenario and then actively avoid that with their own efforts. In our case, they don't have any clear message to guess from and after one palm beach visit and a ten minute Chinese history of North Korea, trump painfully and publicly learned that forcing china to remove Kim Jong Un was not as easy as conventional politics led him to believe. Now he is sending so many mixed messages to china and even North Korea that instead of coming off as unpredictable and dangerous, he presents himself an confused and ignorant.
