"With any new president, there's a learning curve. But for President Trump, it's been steeper than others."
"It's as steep as they come and ice-covered, and he didn't bring very many knowledgeable Sherpas with him." "This man is without experience, and it's showing," said Robert Dallek, the presidential historian and author of multiple books on presidents, from Roosevelt and Truman to Kennedy, Nixon and Reagan. "Particularly in his dealings with Congress, he's been an utter failure in the sense that he's gotten nothing passed. He's issuing all sorts of executive orders, like immigration limits; they're failing. The attempt to get health care reform failed. I'd give him failing marks for his 100 days." "Is this an entry-level president? I think that's too generous," Perry argued. "Unless he would be an intern, he would not have a position in the White House - with no educational experience, no military experience, no government, no political experience, most of it was running for president." NPR ------------------------- "The truth is incontrovertible. malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is." -Sir Winston Churchill |

And this is exactly why he was elected...and that he has a business background. ------------------------- Replace turf grass with native plants that don't need irrigation and synthetic fertilizers or chemicals that can go into our waterways and ocean |

Some of them wanted no experience, and that horrible failed cheating "business background".
Well they got it. ------------------------- "The truth is incontrovertible. malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is." -Sir Winston Churchill |

The PiC took 8 years and never did get it. I am not worried about Trump. Clearly, he is picking it up quickly. ------------------------- I :heart; Q |

Bull crap. The guy is barely coherent.
Trump's latest tweet "Don't let the fake media tell you that I have changed my position on the WALL. It will get built and help stop drugs, human trafficking etc." I think he said Mexico would pay for it? But he probably forgot since he's about as old as Tspank and/or Cranky. |

Wait till you see the tax plan; two trillion worth of debt if the economy stays as it is now. No debt will require something like 8% growth.
I'm really interested in how these tariffs are going to work out. 20% on Canadian softwoods? How very Chavez of him! ------------------------- I was right. |

Queue Zombie Reagan with VooDoo economics. "It might work this time!"
Give the richest 1% who control nearly all the wealth a break on taxes, and they will create lots and lots of jobs! ------------------------- Capitalism is based on the ridiculous notion that you can enjoy limitless growth in a closed, finite system. In biology, such behavior of cells is called "cancer". |

4.5% as of today. I wonder who is going to do all of these new jobs. Is it wise to stimulate a solid economy?

The only way jobs will be created is if demand is up and business can't support it with their current personnel. Demand will be down if the 1% keep sucking out the wealth from the rest of the country. Wait........luxury yacht sales will be up and the boat builders will be hiring! |
