The worst thing Trump's done. Won't create any more jobs (except for lawyers). Will kill millions and cost trillions. The courage and vision to bring back coal. It's like fighting for candles in the age of led. Coal is not coming back for many good reasons, mostly economic. The dismantling of the environmental protections just puts the US as the short sighted campaign promise keepers that think leadership means nostalgia for the past and legislation to revive it.

The above comments provide a good summary of why you progs got your butts kicked in recent elections. You think you can play god with the lives of others. Now, sure, coal wont be back like it was 100 years ago. But there is a need for it now. So, why not let these guys work? Anyway, we are going to do this. Now sure model a's, rotary phones, primitive golf balls etc are on their way out but they have a place and if we force people to use them then we create jobs. You know, government sponsored capitalism.

Now, sure, coal wont be back like it was 100 years ago. But there is a need for it now. So, why not let these guys work? . No, there is NOT a need for it now. It's obsolete expensive and dirty. How many worked in coal in 1950? How many worked in coal in 1970, 1990, 2010? Now? What happened to all those jobs in the decades before Obama? How much good exactly is allowing the faceless mining companies with their absentee owners to externalize all their pollution costs going to do for the average worker?
