WaPo

"Trump administration sought to block Sally Yates from testifying to Congress on Russia"

"Yates and another witness at the planned hearing, former CIA director John Brennan, had made clear to government officials by Thursday that their testimony to the committee probably would contradict some statements that White House officials had made, according to a person familiar with the matter who spoke on the condition of anonymity."

The White House had Nunes cancel the hearings to avoid having to publicly try and invoke presidential communication privilege.

Donny is scared folks.

That is going to be a very difficult woman to intimidate. She went out with integrity. She comes back with it too. This will be good.

She's coming all right. And she's bringing a kick in the royal nuts with her.

I bet he's up late and early trying to find any dirt on her. His m o is to kill the messenger and ad hoc attacks. He will be hard pressed with her. It reminds me of the gold star Muslim family. I bet he attacks all US attorneys as red tape bureaucrats.

Imagine the reaction if a Democrat blocked and canceled investigations into the Obama White House.

The Republican reaction to Nunes? Nothing to see here, please move along. lol

From my perspective you all look humorously desperate grasping those hand fulls of straw.

So preoccupied with that you probably haven't noticed the entire DNC staff was handed their walking papers?  That's right everyonw.  Or that Evelyn Farkas, Assitant Secretary of Defense under Obama, disclosed that there was in fact an Obama adiministration effort to gain as much intelligence on Trump as possible but came up empty, which pretty much clears Nunes?  How about the major eastern European crack down on Soros foundations?  Eastern Europe of all places.  And my favorite, Roger Daltrey's story of how a dead dog could have beat Clinton in 2016.

You all just go on listening to the Mad Cow on MSNBC and grasping all the straw you can with no worries that there may be more importent things to concern yourself with.  Keep on denying that global socialisim is going down like bunch of poorly aligned dominos.  How's it feel to be on the other side of the fence after 8 years?  Do you miss Bush yet?

Thanks for your perspective.

It's always good to file that away.

But I'd be willing to bet Trump is the shortest possible path to son of Bernie. He's teaching us that we need to move into the 21st century as a nation...the hard way.

"Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez has launched a major reshuffling of the party's organization that has been stung by recent crisis - and the DNC has requested the resignation letters of all current staffers be submitted by next month.

Party staff routinely see major turnover with a new boss and staffers were alerted earlier to expect such a move. However, the mass resignation letters will give Perez a chance to completely remake the DNC's headquarters from scratch. Staffing had already reached unusual lows following a round of layoffs in December.

Immediately after Perez' election in late February, an adviser to outgoing DNC Interim Chair Donna Brazile, Leah Daughtry, asked every employee to submit a letter of resignation dated April 15, according to multiple sources familiar with the party's internal working.

A committee advising Perez on his transition is now interviewing staff and others as part of a top-to-bottom review process to help decide not only who will stay and who will go, but how the party should be structured in the future."

MSN

Yea, that's what a reasonably intelligent Party does when it unexpectedly loses the presidency to an incompetent lying sack of shit.

Pretty good. Obama left us on solid ground.

Trump: "We need to find the leaker!!"

Nunes meets with leaker at White House.
