I never head of anyone who turned 65 and was disappointed that they could now enroll in medicare.

The Democrats had better not get cocky. This an opportunity for them to take the high road and say " lets sit down and talk about some of thing we need to fix". The Regressives need to learn how to talk and listen better, instead of yell and expect.

Fuk. Their insurance is covered it's the rest of us that is out on a limb.

Obamacare is going to implode shortly.

I am thankful the RINO Ryan wasn't able to put in place another POS Democrap plan.

Ryan is soon to be replaced.

Obamacare will be gone of it's own accord with it being 100% on the democraps head.

Free market will take its place...and all will be well.

Two things....insurance needs to cross state lines and pre-existing conditions need to be covered.

Interesting though unlikely.

It is true that the GOP will be back a bit wiser very soon. Stay focused progressives.

Crossing state lines won't do shit.

Oklahoma did it and it changed nothing.

Just another republican pipe dream.

And his broad shoulders apparently cannot handle the burden of real politics, nor can his ego handle real statesmanship.

Instead he is pointing his elfin sized finger at everybody but himself and denying any responsibility.  So much for being accountable as the HMFIC.

Crossing state lines won't do shit when nobody else is doing it. It doesn't work when there is NO competition from anywhere else.

Competition needs to come from everywhere...IDIOT!

How do you live with that seriously deformed brain of yours?

Perhaps your expertise in this matter could help. Any advice?

It isn't free market if you force insurance companies to sell coverage to people with whom they do not wish to transact.

Free market is no tax subsidy for employer provided health care.

Free market is no EMTALA.

Free market is insurance priced to risk.

Free market is insurance companies not being forced to sell fire coverage to people after the house is half burnt down. (pre-existing conditions).

Free market is like veterinary care. Buy what you can afford and get blue juice when the money runs out.

I think it's inadvisable and/or impossible at this point to try to place healthcare in a true free market. I don't see how that would work.

It also, IMO, would cause similar problems as private education would; class stagnation and poverty spread even wider than it is now. Free public education is very important to maintaining a stable and workable egalitarian society with a viable middle class.

This is the free market propaganda sold to the middle class by the wealthiest as a means of having the people with the most to lose fight the hardest against their own interests. You can drink all the blue kool aid you want but helping the rich get richer with your live within your means argument cannot work. Millionaires want you to live within your means while they spend millions lobbying for less. They have health care and they believe they have earned it. They want you to earn yours. It's apples and oranges and the irony is that the orangest of them all is the biggest salesman for this con job.

and I think that in a civilized society that people deserve public health care. To me it is no different than police / fire protection or education.
