Coal employees <10% of the number of people now as in 1916. That is due to mechanization.

Across the economy, more jobs have been lost to automation than to outsourcing.

So what about those outsourced jobs. We are going to force companies to come back by punitive taxes. So it is okay to force companies to hire people but it isn't okay to force companies to not pollute or to buy health care for their employees?
