I didn't watch, was working late, but my wife who is a strong Hillary supporter did watch the whole thing.
It gave her a headache.

She saw Hillary's performance as just OK.
Maybe a little too wonky, too "know it all" for a lot of people.

But to her Donald was just Donald, displaying his painfully obvious unsuitability for any office.

It's comical when righties claim the media is liberal. They've been whining about it for decades.  

But bring up the suggestion that we return to the Fairness Doctrine and Equal Time and they shriek "noooo."

The media is far more right wing than left and Republicans know it, which is why they never try to do anything about it.  If Congress tried to pass a bill mandating equal time the righties would be up in arms, but liberals would sit and smile, perfectly content with that prospect.  

Liberal media!  Ha!   The media is about as liberal as Trump is conservative.

That study is over 11 years old. The mainstream media has change quite a bit in that time...they have become far more sensationalistic. They are not liberal, they are not right wing, they are stupid wing.

Fox is unchanged, except for the dismissal of fatass Ailes.

No doubt they have all become more sensationalistic, but if the study was accurate in 2005, why would the political leanings of those outlets have tilted back to the center since then, when nothing else in the country has?

This one doesn't quantify the overall left/right leanings, but does demonstrate that most use quotes and headline wording that aligns with their leanings and audience.
