I think I just heard a blurb on CNBC about clinton wanting to raise Corp Tax Rate to 46%. If I heard correctly, THAT could change my opinion of her and who I vote for. I mean, we already have extremely high corp tax rate. Makes me think she is just f'ing clueless. I'm saying that as a Hillary supporter. Maybe its time to move elsewhere because I couldn't in good conscience support Trump either. I mean, she'd never get this through Congress, but how shit ass stupid for even suggesting this.

Wrong. Butch 2 cut it down to 15% and those wall street hedge funders pay little to no taxes and their dealings, which is why WE have to make up the difference.

Sounds bogus.
Bill has pushed for lowering it, but Hillary says there is no need, wants to keep it the same as now.
I agree with Bill, I would lower the marginal rate a lot but ony in return for eliminating all special breaks.

Corporate America is going to do everything they can to mislead you about the intentions of candidates they don't like.

From her website she does aim to stop inversions and close loopholes.  There was nothing there about increasing coporate tax rates.

She proposes to raise the estate tax rate to 65%. Maybe that is what you heard. Haven't heard that about corporate income tax rate.

She wasn't going to do any tax hikes but Bernie made her do it.

That's like the "Death Tax". average people think it's for them, but it only bennefits those inheriting 5 million or more.

She has proposed raising the top estate tax rate to 65 percent, but only for estates worth more than $500 million ($1 billion for couples).

Almost nobody pays the estate tax now anyway.

BTW, it was higher than that in the 60s, and applied to much lower incomes.

She needs to step up and support the 28% Obama proposal. That is reasonable. As long as she's not raising it, she's got my vote.

Think I figured this out. I think this was for companies who decided to keep profits made overseas in bank accounts overseas. So, if they want to being it back in, then they would have the 46% applied to that set of money. No source though, just my guess.

What really sticks up my crawl is how there doesn't seem to be any widely-available, easily accessible outlet for real information. The talking heads on either side say the most hyperbolic, rage-inducing things about the other side that they can. It's just a big circle jerk; I'm pretty sure they enjoy it.

It shouldn't be so hard to get true, accurate, impartial information. There's got to be a market for it. I believe that the majority of people are under the meat of the bell curve with me trying to seek out good information to make a decision, but all we get is garbage in, garbage out from the wackos way out there on either side.
