I see fine.
Rigged is still a stupid Trumpy word. Of course the DNC favored Hillary, the Democratic candidate over the insurgent socialist. DWS lost her job over being not discreet enough about it. I know way more about the details of this from the inside. There will be more leaks, it won't matter. Of course the Super Delegates are a huge establishment huge power play, designed to thwart insurgencies like Bernie. Of course I supported Bernie down to the end, and would again. Nobody rigged any votes. Nobody in our party tries to stop people from voting That's an R thing. Hillary got more, It wasn't really even that close. She will in Nov too. And I really don't care a bit what people like you who aren't even Democrats think about any of it. Not your party. Deal with the dysfunction of your own. ------------------------- "The truth is incontrovertible. malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is." -Sir Winston Churchill |

I might not be a Dem, but I do like to fight ignorance. Rigged is a Trump word? Sanders used that word in about every speech he gave. ------------------------- I :heart; Q |

I didn't say "Trump word" I said" Trumpy word"
Pay attention. "Well, I've been very touched by Donald Trump's love for me. But John, you know, with all due respect, I think there may be some aspect of this which he thinks will advantage himself," "I wouldn't use the word 'rigged,' because we knew what the rules were," Sanders said on "Face the Nation." "But what is really dumb is that you have closed primaries, like in New York State, where 3 million people who were Democrats or Republicans could not participate. Where you have a situation where over 400 superdelegates came on board Clinton's campaign before anybody else was in the race, eight months before the first vote was cast. That's not rigged. I think it's just a dumb process, which has certainly disadvantaged our campaign." - Bernie Sanders Not rigged, just dumb ------------------------- "The truth is incontrovertible. malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is." -Sir Winston Churchill |

It is stunning that someone could actually believe that about Clinton. Hell, I can rebut that whole bit of propaganda with one, indisputable fact: she got $600,000 a pop for speeches to Goldman Sachs. Of course, that's how you play the game. It's rigged in Wall Street's and K Street's favor. But seems to me that democrats are most likely to implement reforms to chip away at that. |

HOLD THE HIGH GROUND?!?!?!?! WTF? They rigged the election against the wishes/wants of the voters!? Who gives a fuck about global economy and reputation when the very fabric of democracy is being shredded by your beloved party. My God, man.......really, the fuck? Its baffling how anyone could still support this party/candidate..... |

It's really very simple, Hillary got more votes in the primary, and she's the best candidate in November in spite of her flaws.

one indisputable fact: she got $600,000 a pop for speeches to Goldman Sachs. Yep that's all right out there. In the tax returns she released to the public. ------------------------- "The truth is incontrovertible. malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is." -Sir Winston Churchill |

Those people are assholes.
But not too many. "A total of 69 tickets had been issued as of Wednesday afternoon, including 10 citations for disorderly conduct related to a sit-in downtown in protest of the convention." But there were thousands of them inside the hall in Cleveland. "After arguing with the protesters who burned the red and black American flag, the peaceful protesters led a singing march up and down Broad Street before sitting down and holding hands. "They burn flags. We burn sage," said a protester with a megaphone as others sat down on Broad Street Wednesday night." Honest question, how can you look yourself in the mirror, and cheer for the very party that subverted the democratic process, (again, this is not my opinion but proven fact), and still call yourself an American? |

May I remind you Hillary supporters, she is only the nominee because the election was rigged. How you can be cool with this really blows my mind. Again, fortunately, it appears that there are a lot of people that are starting to wake up......
Hillary did get more votes. The Democratic party did favor one of their own. Big surprise. Bernie has been an independent forever and only registered as a Democrat for this primary. Now he is back to independent. He did manage to force the Democrats to alter their platform to include some of his planks. The same cannot be said of Donald. He is playing the outsider but the Republican National Party Platform looks the most like the Texas Republican Party Platform that it has in my entire lifetime. Why do you care if the Democrats elbowed the outsider? You support none of Bernie's policy positions and participated in smearing Bernie as a Chavez wannabe. ------------------------- ... |

The official job of the RNC and DNC are one thing: Get the most electable candidate nominated. The DNC was successful...

Subverting the "democratic process" would be a government altering open elections such as various voter suppression techniques. The primary is a within-party battle. Unless they committed outright voter fraud then they didn't "subvert the Democratic process". If people don't like the machinations of the party that they are in then they can leave the party or change the party. A better option if they ultimately support the positions of the party is to become active in the party and work on structure from the inside out and bottom up. Getting all hot and bothered for a single national election every 4 years is pointless and stupid unless you can muster the support that Bernie did. He made his point. We will see if that pushes the Democrats in the right direction. And no matter how mad a Democrat or any other non-rightwing person is at how the Democrats select their candidate, that is absolutely no reason to support Trump and a Republican Party platform that looks like it was written by the 1964 John Birch society. Trump promises to protect us from all the rapists and murderers coming from Mexico. How many millions of illegals came here during the Bush and Obama years? Did the crime rate go up proportionally? No? Then maybe security and immigration reform are needed but do not actually need to be the top "build a wall" focus of the election. What is Trump actually going to do about trade imbalances? What is his actual plan for anything? ------------------------- ... |

Tell me, Scom, if "nothing happened" why did Wasserman have to step down? Also, is it the party elite that choose the candidate, or is it supposed to be the registered members of the party who choose? I'm pretty sure its supposed to be "We the People" and not "We the Elite" I care when an election is rigged, its obvious to those who are willing to see, and the party/candidate gets away with it without any accountability. Irregardless of the party. Are you cool with the DNC colluding with Hillary to win? Do you refuse to accept that as fact? What makes you think she won't also rig the general election? Are you cool with it only cause she's on your team? I seriously can't believe you guys still think you have any ground to stand on when you criticize Trump, whilst you cheer for one of the most corrupt, unaccountable politicians of my lifetime, who litterealy rigged the primary election. You are litteraly cheering for unfettered corruption, much less trying to rationalize it! What the fuck is wrong with you guys???? |

Nothing was rigged. All primaries were run above board all the votes were counted. Hillary won. Wasserman resigned because it was embarrassing to see how the inner cirlce were favoring Hillary. THAT IS THE COMMITTEES JOB TO GET THE MOST ELECTABLE CANDIDATE NOMINATED. They did nothing illegal by favoring the most electable candidate. Get off it and back to the emails or whatever else minutia you want to blow out of proportion.
