Day one - pretty rocky start, I thought it might all be falling apart; quite the shit show early. Poor speakers couldn't focus, disruptions, awkward moments, finally Sarah Silverman telling them "you're being ridiculous".

But then came a parade of stars. Michele killed it, I wish I could vote for her this election. Obama-Warren-Sanders saved the day.

I was and still am a Bernie supporter, but I've had enough with these spoiled kids. Let them vote for Trump and F themselves over if they must.

Perhaps after they have a chance to roll call vote (tonight I think), they will put on their big girl panties and get down to the business to stopping the rise of neo-fascism in the USA.

Nah, it's just the dem party. The "left" always fights itself. The kids are used to getting what they want, they have no idea that these struggles go on for generations. The race is not for the swift, but for those who endure it.

Bernie closed with a flair for the dramatic. Brought down the house. Madame President is in the game.

It was a brilliant roll call and nomination, good stuff last night. Oh, and news that trump is calling for Russian Watergate, that should help him.

Let's see what the president has to say tonight.

Trump's bump has faded and the Dem bump hasn't kicked in.

Last night was powerful, I think they should get a nice bump if Hillary does a good job tonight.

you're being fed a bunch of BS, fortunately it appears that people are starting to wake up. You'll get there soon.....

May I remind you Hillary supporters, she is only the nominee because the election was rigged. How you can be cool with this really blows my mind. Again, fortunately, it appears that there are a lot of people that are starting to wake up......

A rigged election does tend to give more votes to the candidate that does the rigging.

All she needs to do is not F up tonight. The Democrats clearly hold the high ground in a tight race that might not be the battle of good vs. Evil, but it very well may be the battle of good enough vs. Evil.

The global economy and the reputation of the United States in the world are in the balance. If you guys can't see that, damn, bless your hearts.

I really liked what Tim Kaine and Obama had to say last night, and how they said it.

I'm a policy voter and in agreement with at least 90% of the policies and objectives of the democrat party.

I also appreciate how Hillary has it detailed on her website, not only her goals, but how she will get it done. I can see that Sanders had an influence in shaping some of those objectives too. www.hillaryclinton.com/issues/

The biggest criticism I hold against the Clintons is their ties to wealthy interests, but at the same time, she is the most likely candidate to accomplish ethics, campaign finance, taxes, and Wall Street reforms. She knows how to get things done. Trump claims he knows how to game the system, but he has a lot to learn to catch up to the Clintons. Most importantly, I believe she is in it for the right reasons, and not just herself.

It is stunning that someone could actually believe that about Clinton. Hell, I can rebut that whole bit of propaganda with one, indisputable fact: she got $600,000 a pop for speeches to Goldman Sachs.
