They spelled bizarre wrong.

That room, is without a doubt the most vomit inducing piece of ostentatiousness I've ever seen.

The ultra Christian group Focus on the Family has backed the thrice married, socially liberal, casino mogul. Further proof these people aren't what they claim to be. I don't see much difference between them and those who are supporting Hillary rather than voting for a third party. They see it as doing everything in their power to prevent the one they like least from being elected. As unpleasant as that may be, they feel like voting for anyone but Trump puts Hillary in the WH. Reminder: I am not voting for either one of them, and am still leaning toward either Gary Johnson (not thrilled there either) or a write-in. |

If you don't see the difference Joe, then either you aren't listening to us, or perhaps we haven't been making the case.
The President did last night, Hillary is by far the best qualified candidate. Her solid 40% base of people that want to continue moving the country forward as President Obama has are voting FOR her, not against Trump. We would be for her regardless of who the R's came up with. Including us converted Bernie supporters. The Please not Trump argument is for the rest of you, people that may not be so sure of the direction Hillary will take us, people that perhaps don't call themselves progressives, people that may even have partially bought into the other Hillary narrative that has been pushed for so long by so many. We think that Hillary's steady moderate experience and positions ought to be much more acceptable to most Americans, especially when compared with Trumps know-nothing xenophobic pseudo-populist bullshit. But if you can't bring yourself to vote for her, a principled vote for Johnson might at least help pull the Republican party back from the brink. ------------------------- "The truth is incontrovertible. malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is." -Sir Winston Churchill Edited: 07/28/2016 at 09:17 AM by WG |

I like the last eight years. And no one can argue that 2007 was better than today.
Sure, there are things we can improve, but for the most part, I am quite satisfied with the current state of the Union. If I am happy with now, why would I take a chance on Trump? If people think Washington stands at a stalemate now, just wait till Trump takes over. ------------------------- I was right. |

Recent posts of your seem in conflict with the above: June 28 http://www.2ndlight.com/fuseta...did=171554&STARTPAGE=2 June 29 update to same thread: And July 20: http://www.2ndlight.com/fuseta...erthread=y&STARTPAGE=2 1 Donald Trump is less likely to be elected President, a disaster for America is averted. 2. Hillary Clinton is more likely to be elected President, progress continues. 3. A real third party is likely to be born, our democracy will be strengthened. I can appreciate where you're coming from, but I believe that "solid 40%" is a lot of 1) people voting for her because they're Democrats and so is she 2) people voting for her because she's a woman 3) people voting for her because she's not Trump Sorry man, but for an election with the two most unpopular candidates in history, even though Trump is a douchebag, I can't accept that Hillary being lumped into that camp is just from biased narrative in the bubble. |

The possibility of me voting Libertarian hinges on being sure that it means Hillary still wins. I'm way too scared to go there now, we'll see in Nov.
I wouldn't do it because I think he should be President, I don't. I think he is really wrong on spending & taxes, I would not cut as much as he, I would just pay for what we have now & maybe more. I would do it because we need a third party we need a real place for all of the Rs who say they are Libertarians to actually go. We need the current insane Republican party to relinquish its grip on the nation. And we need a real libertarian voice on personal freedom issues to keep the Democrats honest. "people voting for her because they're Democrats and so is she " Issues voters. Most of us. ------------------------- "The truth is incontrovertible. malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is." -Sir Winston Churchill |
