What does the next generation think about firearms? If we do nothing now, what will they do in the future? Give yours up if you truly believe what you are saying, otherwise I choose to keep mine, I have never shot anyone but still have the right to own them It's a shotgun that has been in the family for 60 years. To stop mass murder, I'd hand it over tomorrow. If you are absolutely unwilling to negotiate for better laws, then perhaps harsher steps are required. ------------------------- I was right. |

To stop mass murder, I'd hand it over tomorrow. Shotguns aren't typically used in mass murders, so handing it over wouldn't help much. But since mass murders are such a small percentage of total gun murders, you could still give it up to help the greater cause. On the other hand, since you are a law-abiding citizen who would never use it in a crime, handing it over won't help anything, which kind of ties into a recurring theme in this debate. |
