That darn Nate Silver - he is such a know nothing hack who has no idea about what is going to go down. Right, TeaPatsy? But, just to let you prove your convictions, at this point I'll make you the same proposition as last time when you called him a hack. I won't be voting for her, but I'll put 1k on HRC. Same holding arrangement as last time. Back your boy so you can stick it (wth??) to the progs, TeaPatsy, and may the odds be in your favor!

still too much red for comfort Heard that. Any is too much. Buy Trump has really brought people's true feelings into the open. I've seen some nasty stuff from people I'd never expect. ------------------------- I was right. |

Last week at this time, it was Clinton 44%, Trump 39%. This is Trump's highest level of support in Rasmussen Reports' matchups with Clinton since last October. His support has been hovering around the 40% mark since April, but it remains to be seen whether he's just having a good week or this actually represents a real move forward among voters. Trump now earns 75% support among his fellow Republicans and picks up 14% of the Democratic vote. Seventy-six percent (76%) of Democrats like Clinton, as do 10% of GOP voters. Both candidates face a sizable number of potential defections because of unhappiness with them in their own parties. I didn't like either one of them to begin with and thus far into the campaign, my disdain has only grown for both major candidates (and most of their supporters); Johnson will still be getting my vote. I'll be able to take care of myself no matter which of the jackasses wins. ------------------------- Specializing in sarcasm and condescending rhetoric since 1971. |

My biggest concern with Trump is what could happen with him when he gets his feelings hurt by some Ayatollah or that clown in North Korea.

Yes it most certainly would, but I don't trust Hilldog with her hand on the button anymore than the tangerine tornado.
From what I see, maybe our species is about due for good ole gut check. A few billion less of us, would probably do the earth some good. ------------------------- Specializing in sarcasm and condescending rhetoric since 1971. |

I can't take credit for that name; think it was the New Yorker had a cartoon picture of him as an actual tangerine tornado, but will gladly take a cold beerz.

Dukakis looked as good against G.H.W. Bush at this point. Of course the elder Bush was exceedingly well connected and built a big campaign organization, and Dukakis managed to look silly. There's a further problem for Clinton in that she might be in trouble in Pennsylvania, Ohio, other midwestern states. But the latest polls 538's seen are encouraging for Clinton. |

After this weekend maybe clinton may be out of the race since she is being interviewed by the FBI. So there is hope! The Great Orange One has moved up a couple of ticks in the poll > now at 22% per Nate Silver. ------------------------- If I should ever die, God forbid, let this be my epitaph: THE ONLY PROOF HE NEEDED FOR THE EXISTENCE OF GOD WAS MUSIC - KV |

Oh My, What a shocking surprise!!!
Looks like the easy way out for Trump is gone. He is going to have an up-Hillary battle all the way. This will be entertaining! ------------------------- If I should ever die, God forbid, let this be my epitaph: THE ONLY PROOF HE NEEDED FOR THE EXISTENCE OF GOD WAS MUSIC - KV |

This has been a slam dunk for the D party for a while. Any news media attempt to tell you otherwise is being disingenuous. I imagine that the absolutely bull$hit Fox network will lie right up to the last moment like they do to embolden the likes of their wretched and vocal viewers. And MSNBC and CNN will provide fantastic "what if" scenarios and provide outlets for right wind nut jobs (CNN + Lewandowski for example) to scare their viewers into continued watching. Once Mr. Sanders and Ms. Clinton patch things up it will be downright ridiculous. |

CNN has hired a person who is contractually prohibited from making any criticism of Trump as their Trump expert.

Trump is ratings gold, and all media left, right, and center have sold out across the board.
They MADE this guy, and they don't care if it tears the fabric of our country if they can just make a buck. That's the name of the game. Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has surged to a 15-point lead over reeling, gaffe-plagued Republican Donald Trump, according to a new McClatchy-Marist poll.
Clinton made strong gains with two constituencies crucial to a Republican victory - whites and men - while scoring important gains among fellow Democrats, the poll found. Clinton not only went up, but Trump also went down. Clinton now has a 48-33 percent lead, a huge turnaround from her narrow 42-39 advantage last month. mcclatchydc ------------------------- "The truth is incontrovertible. malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is." -Sir Winston Churchill |
