In the prog world (well, alternate, very screwed-up, universe), it is not only completely acceptable to denigrate conservative blacks for their skin color, it is mandatory. Carson came from an impoverish inner city upbringing and rose to heights beyond what all of us on this forum have. That destroys the prog narrative that blacks cannot make it in this country due to racism and that only progs can give them a chance. If blacks finally see through this and see what 50 years of prog "help" has done to them, they will become Republicans. Progs, therefore, go all out to destroy black conservatives so they can keep blacks poor, dumb and voting for progs.

When I first saw the headline Friday and googled to verify it, I was surprised it had not received a little more coverage in the mainstream press, especially from one her employers (MSNBC) distancing themselves from it. All the google hits were second-tier sites and lower.

I just thought the general blogosphere would be making a universal condemnation of the statement and calling for her removal from UPenn.

So, this post has been up for a week, with nobody from the usual "left of center" denouncing her remarks or calling for her head and her job.

I left it deliberately vague last week to see who would google it, and hopefully comment on the sites where it was found. But this is it in a nutshell:



So, I'm offering $20 to the first person who can post links to a traditionally non-conservative media personality or outlet that has denounced her comments, plus a $20 bonus if it's from an official spokesperson at MSNBC or University of Pennsylvania.

Good luck. I didn't even see a liberal site in the first 20 google hits searching for "coon of the year" (posts in past month) other than this one defending her.
