A swell that's lasted longer than a troll tribute thread
Most of us quit arguing and went surfing instead
Plenty waves with offshore winds
After a long slow summer this was a great end

The photos are crazy and the shots insane
The swell is still pumping and the trolls are still lame
Sunburnt stoked happy and tired
This many days of surf and still wired.

It was all going great until that fateful close out
Now I'm on meds and checking threads and giving shout outs.
No surf for me and for the next month or two
Like more than a few others left black and blue

Not bad, Johnnyboy. Hope your recovery is a quick one. I count a broken rib among my various surf injuries and it wasn't fun. But it heals fairly quickly. Whatever you do, don't catch a cold or hang around with funny people.

5/5 & Good advice.... A friend of mine did this after a hernia operation. He had to go back for a 2nd operation.
