Acknowledging Putin does not empower him. He does have the Red Army and just because that little fact slipped your mind doesn't mean our president forgot too. He will throw his support in for Bashar Al Asad and his shor term goal of making all that arms cash will collide with a holy war dividing Muslims of every stripes and they will all soon unite against a common enemy, the Russkies and their puppet. I say we pop some corn and watch while our troops stay out of harms way. Support our troops in a real way, buy not squandering their blood in yet another pointless conflict without a point or objective.
