Imagine you are an upstanding conservative in americuh that wishes to project your dominance across the world.  You would be duly upset that some damn local in Iraq or Syria cannot kill some crazy hajji's as well as you are told we should be able to do so.  Enter the liberal news media of NPR to rock your world.  what do you do?  I guess you just bitch until one of your own kind is elected to push the agenda. It is what it is expected. If you were a tee totaler, you would of course get yur guns and head east.  It would be the respectable Christian thing to do.  Please blog your experiences so we wimpy surfer dudes can live vicariously through your agression.

The Haj (highly organized pilgrimage to Mecca at a specific time of year, probably the biggest mass gathering of people in the world, except maybe India) is a high priority for all Muslims, much more than visiting Rome is for Catholics (who will be having a Holy Year).

Sunni Muslim extremists can be labeled many other ways, but Haji (someone who's fulfilled the Haj requirement) isn't a good one.  

thus the adjective crazy.  common religion with a qualifier.  I have friends who have done the pilgrimage to mecca and the river that purifies.  Yeah, they are shiites.  

I thought haji's owned the 7-11's!
