Ripoff: Obamacare Set to Cost Taxpayers $50,000 Per American Covered

Obamacare has become such a boondoggle that it is costing the government $50,000 for every citizen covered. When the average American spends less than $9,000 a year on medical coverage (including eye and dental care), that is a huge waste of money and a horrible return on our investment. At this rate the government could have just paid our healthcare costs outright.

On Monday the Congressional Budget Office reported that the U.S. government will waste about $1.35 trillion on Obamacare, which is about $50,000 per head. But that isn’t all. The CBO thinks that this is just a low estimate and that costs will soar even higher making this whole program a huge waste of money that will buy the country in debt and waste.

The numbers are daunting: It will take $1.993 trillion, a number that looks like $1,993,000,000,000, to provide insurance subsidies to poor and middle-class Americans, and to pay for a massive expansion of Medicaid and CHIP (Children’s Health Insurance Program) costs.

Offsetting that massive outlay will be $643 billion in new taxes, penalties and fees related to the Obamacare law. That revenue includes quickly escalating penalties – or ‘taxes,’ as the U.S. Supreme Court described them – on people who resist Washington’s command to buy medical insurance.

It also includes income from a controversial medical device tax, which some Republicans predict will be eliminated in the next two years. If they’re right, Obamacare’s per-person cost would be even higher. Obama has destroyed this country and he isn’t done yet.

The harm he has done to this country will redound for decades to come.

Yes and the CBO report is misquoted and misunderstood by the cub reporter that TPNN is giving webspace to.   They don't let little things like facts stand in the way of getting their bloated followers' blood pressure elevated.

Since the terms "obamacare", "waste", and "soar" are not found anywhere in the CBO report it is difficult to determine what the reporter turned economic expert considers as going into his figuring.  But don't let that stop you from believing it in total!   

Someone could flex their cypherin' skills and explain where he came up with the $50K figure.  It probably should be divided by 10 to arrive at $5K per year per newly insured person to put it in perspective but why should something like that stand in the way of preaching to the hunched and accepting Tea Party dullards.  Then of course there is the revenues thing and why that wasn't factored in but who cares right?

This whole cost savings claim was a lie that only someone as dumb as a prog could believe. Take the existing system and add in the cost of a gov't bureaucracy is going to make health care cheaper? Ridiculous on its face.
