  1. Forced to take action against do nothing Congress.     made up of members of his own party, the majority in both houses for 2 years and then the majority in the Senate for another 4 years and not until January will the 'Congress' be compossed of people not in his own party.
  2. Then persecuted by Congress composed of opposite party.      made up of members of his own party, the majority in both houses for 2 years and then the majority in the Senate for another 4 years and not until January will the 'Congress' be compossed of people not in his own party.
  3. Legislation that was supposed to happen years ago occurs.           Legislation happens when Congress votes on it, if the Congress which the Democrats ran for 2 years and the Senate that the Democrats ran for another 4 years didn't pass Legislation it was a lack of leadership and lack of leadership that caused it.
  4. Whether he is successful or a martyr he will be remembered as trying to help the less fortunate.       He will be remembered as the President that made the poor, poorer and made the middle class into the poor...    If anybody ever thinks that he was trying to help the less fortunate then he will be remembered as the worse failure of all time because nobody trying to help the less fortunate could have done such a brilliant job of making their problems so much worse...    It would be better if he was remembered as  crony of the rich and famous and that his goal was to make the rich richer and to goof off and screw the little guy, at least then people will say, he did what he planned to do and was successful in getting stupid people into voting for him while padding his and his friends bank rolls.... He succeeded, well played Mr President... Thats a way better Legacy then utter failure and he tried but was an utter failure in everything he tried...

You are an idiot or delusional?

Employment is the best it's been in eight years, the pay scale for low and middle earners is increasing for the first time in 10 years, gas is under $3.00, minimum wage is being increased to a livable level.. and the true fact?

Republicans didn't have a damn thing to do with it.

Wow...that isn't saying much!

Our employment currently is close to 13%.... truth...not Obamas twisted deceptive way of reporting it!

You call that good?

Your information is correct...if you are comparing our current situation with the worst economic event since the Great Depression. That is setting the bar beyond low. This is the slowest recovery from a recession in recent history and we aren't out of the woods yet. Pretty much every recession in the past 50 years has recovered all lost jobs within 25 months. We are going on 7 years and haven't gotten them back. Why? Because our government has taken and anti-growth stance and has created economic uncertainty with the slow role out of Obamacare. Many companies still don't know how the employer mandate, that will go into effect in 2016, will affect them. Companies are holding what they've got and aren't making any big moves.

"the worst economic event since the Great Depression."
Doesn't that sort of explain why it took so long to get back to where we are?
Weren't a lot of people saying back in 2008, that it might take 10 years to recover all of the jobs lost?

I have said it before but the country is not going to make real steps towards recovery until they ditch the class warfare rhetoric and get tired of these anti-growth agendas that we have been stuck with for the last 6 years. In the November election, the voting public made the first steps towards deciding they were tired of being in a recession and finally doing something about it.

minimum wage is being increased to a livable level                                    where is that, what I've seen is that those on minimum wage had their hours cut under Obama from 36hrs a week to 28 hrs a week.... What I've seen is minimum wage people getting 2nd and 3rd jobs to be able to work enough hours to make up for Obamas manipulations of the work week....

Young low- and middle-wage workers are seeing their earnings rise more rapidly than their older, higher-paid counterparts, reversing the trend that prevailed early in the economic recovery.

The shift could boost economic growth since lower-paid workers tend to spend most of their paychecks, spreading the benefits throughout the economy. It's also lifting the fortunes of restaurant and retail employees whose stagnant wages have sparked protests across the USA.

In the third quarter, average hourly pay for workers earning less than $20,000 a year jumped 5.4% vs. the year-ago period, according to top payroll processor ADP. Those earning $20,000 to $50,000 got wage hikes of 4.9

Republican policy damn near killed this country only six short years ago and many of those who created that horrible environment are still in office.

Now they are going to be the saviors?

...and what are they saving us from?

Cheaper gas?

Lower unemployment numbers?

A strengthening economy?
