WG, I think I have a better idea now of where you're coming from in terms of Jesus...the one who was an actual man that lived in Israel ~2000 years ago.

I know you've professed your love for the one God...under whatever name (Jah, Allah, Jesus, etc.) people want to call him, and in that regard you're comfortable saying in some way that you "love Jesus".

But what about the man Jesus...the one in the scriptures FK is quoting just above?

Do you love him...in the same way you love the one God?

Or would it be closer to the truth to say that you just respect him for his good life and teachings?

I think he was the greatest man who ever lived.
To say "I love him" would imply that I believe the man is still alive.
I am not so sure about that one.
I can't honestly say I believe it.

I feel certain that you believe the one God is able to raise us to life after death if he wants to. For, as you say, he is everything.

If so...if he is able...then he would have to not want to...if it is true that there is no afterlife.

Do you doubt the reality of the afterlife based primarily on intellectual reasons?

I'm curious...have you asked him what he has in store? What you believe...is it based on what he has spoken to you in your heart?

I don't think we can know.
