No subsidies for states that are relying on federal exchanges. Opinion by DC Circuit, an important one. Clown Care becomes an even bigger cluster....

It's an amazing well funded and organized effort to deny Americans the basic human right of healthcare. Sad really.

Wait for the backlash, because ACA is working where it's implemented.

because ACA is working where it's implemented

hahahaha IT IS NOT IMPLEMENTED ANY-WHERE....

40 different administrative cans kicked down the road...

40 different deferments.... that have yet to hit the fan...

There is no place in America where the ACA has been implemented...

AND... AND... every territory and protectorate has just been administratively been allowed to NOT JOIN... Obama cancelled the requirement that all these people have to follow the law and get health insurance...

No, you are wrong. It is working and working well, except for the states that are trying hard to prevent it.

This is what we get for listening to you guys and trying to compromise. The whole F-ing sellout to the insurance industry and the individual mandate were R ideas implemented to try and work with you morons.

Single payer should have been rammed down your throat, and perhaps it will before we're done.

No...it's not working....and it's not affordable either.

And the worst parts haven't even been implemented yet.

It was rammed down our throats...

That's one of the reasons why nobody wants it.

The other is that we were LIED to about it...in so many ways.

Every thing you said is wrong. It is working well nowhere. It has been a failure by all of the touted metrics. It hasn't covered everyone. It has not lowered prices and it has not saved the government money.

The dems in no way tried to compromise. They had a majority and rammed it down everyone's throat with zero Republican votes. The Republicans reflected the will of the people, who have been against Clown Care from the start.

And, thanks to Clown Care, single payer isn't in the cards. After the debacle, the voters will not want the gov't involved again, at least until most people have forgotten about how bad Clown Care was.

Bad. Not their place. And since your intent here is obvious, I'll comment on your implication. The definition of "activist judges" is not judges who rule against the prog position. This decision merely involves statutory interpretation and they interpreted the staute according to its plain language, as the law requires. And activist opinion would have said, we don't care what Congress said, we will interpret the satute in accordance with how it should have been written. That is legislating from the bench, which is forbidden by the Constitution.

In all likelihood, the DC Circuit will hear this case en banc. And, given that the PiC packed the DC Circuit with the help of Reid, they will practice activism and reverse this panel's holding. Doesn't really matter as it wil go to the Supreme Court, who will ultimately decide the issue.

Well they only have to reverse one panel since the other got it right.

Pablo, you live in an alternate universe. We will have the ACA, like it or not.

"promote the general welfare"
rt

also mentioned in Article 1 Section 8.

Most certainly there is a constitutional mandate for Health Care. Obstructionist repugs and teabaggers are unable to correctly interpret this.

Fools. So you are proposing that "general welfare" means whatever someone says it means, without any limitations, and allows that someone to Constitutionally pursue that interpretation? Well, it doesn't. The premable simply outlines the aims of what follows and is not substantive.

If you were right, however, I would say that the best possible thing for the general welfare of this country would be the elimination of all progs. If president, I could then start herding you losers into concentration camps and justify it Constitutionally. That would be great.

Anyway, Cheater is right and you progs are wrong.

My interpretation of general welfare is no more ambiguous than the interpretation of "well regulated militia" which allows me to have all these 5.56 and 7.62 rifles which I collect for enjoyment and in case of right wing zombies.

If the Right led Supreme Court throws out the subsidies and 4 million lose their insurance, what will the political outcome be?
