He never traveled to any other homeland and he never appealed to the government????

I'm not a Bible expert but I don't remember him trying what you say he tried?

He also didn't go to his own Government and preach to them until he was dragged there and then he didn't say anything???

 

 

BUT that is quibbling... WWJD now??? Jesus had a way of cutting to the heart of the matter... what would his going to all these central and south american countries and speaking to their governments do??? Would they change their ways? would they enact social justice in their own countries to the point that America has no draw any more???? Jesus did not go to the guvernment in his own time why would you think he would go there now??

Jesus preached to people to repent and to seek the kingdom of God...

He did say if you have 2 coats give to the man who has none and if a man asks you to walk a mile with him... walk 2 miles...

So his call is to help other people but look at this situation... By the time America sees these people they have been on the road for a month or more, they are sick, they have been threatened, some killed, some raped... we don't have any idea of the numbers of people and numbers of children who have died or been enslaved before they ever got here...

IF we stop people from thinking that we are an open door, and we stop people from starting out on this hazardous journey through all those dangers, then we ultimately save more lives and more children than we do if we keep the door open and keep attracting people to attempt this trip...

If every person that shows up is sent right back to their starting point, feed them heal them, but send them back so that their family and neighbors see that their journey was in vain and so that then the flood of people stops... and lives are saved...
