If Stewart, or Leibowitz, had allowed the rest of the clip, the rancher explained that he doesn't think the federal government has jurisdiction over the land. He thinks the land belongs to Nevada, based on what was negotiated when it went from being a territory to being a state. I guess that is debatable.

Why do you guys hate the man so much? Sounds like he just wants to be left the f alone. I don't give a shit if some of his cows want to eat the grass in my yard. Out of all the problems we have in this world, the one that the feds have chosen to zero in on is some old rancher out in Nevada. They let him get away with not paying this for 20+ years and now they decide his cows are "trespassed cows" and need to either be moved or executed. Sounds like the entire thing is screwed up.

And Harry Reid doesn't own Nevada.

I can answer that. They hate him because they have been told to hate him by their prog leaders, such as Reid. Remember, these are mindless people.

Now, if we had had the identical scenario, except that Bundy was black and state law enforcement was involved instead of the feds, they would be raising unholy hell about it.
