Government documents filed by Mitt Romney and Bain Capital say Romney remained chief executive and chairman of the firm three years beyond the date he said he ceded control, even creating five new investment partnerships during that time.

Romney has said he left Bain in 1999 to lead the winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, ending his role in the company. But public Securities and Exchange Commission documents filed later by Bain Capital state he remained the firm’s “sole stockholder, chairman of the board, chief executive officer, and president.”

Also, a Massachusetts financial disclosure form Romney filed in 2003 states that he still owned 100 percent of Bain Capital in 2002. And Romney’s state financial disclosure forms indicate he earned at least $100,000 as a Bain “executive” in 2001 and 2002, separate from investment earnings.

Obama has outsourced more jobs permanently by destroying whole sectors of the economy than Bain capital ever did.  These campaign accusations against Romney are bogus.  They are just trying to make sure folks are talking about anything except Obamas record.

Why don't we talk about the real facts instead:

The deficit has jumped from $9T to ~$16T under Obama in 3.5 years in spite of his promise to cut it in half.  Remember we he said Bushes deficit spending was unAmerican?  This is the greatest threat to our long term fiscal health.

Gitmo still open although he promised to close it within one year of signing an executive order.  When you are wet behind the ears (and those are some big ears) you make these kinds of amatuer mistakes.

Almost $1T in stimulus spent with promises unemployment would not exceed 8%.  Huge waste of money mainly used as a congressional slush fund for pet projects.  Billions that were borrowed from China went oversees for foreign jobs.  Ooops.

He did pass Obama Care.  Too bad that instead of cutting costs, the CBO projects another $2T added to our deficit because of it in the next decade.  Ooops.  It is also a millstone around the neck of business and is slowing growth.  It has 21 new taxes most of which are borne by the middle class.  Didn't he say no new taxes on those making under $250K.  Ooops. 

What ever happened to that transparency promise?

Or how about the promise to post bills for 5 days before signing them.

First he says he doesn't have authority to grant illegals amnesty, and then does it anyways because he need hispanic votes.

Its not even valid.  HIs name had to be legally on the documents since he left for the olympics so quickly.  It took over 2 years to reorganize the company.  Obamas camp is getting awfully dirty.  They should get the facts before leaking some bullshit like this.  I wish both sides could just stick to the important topics regarding our country.
