What the hell is that(prog) is that some mythical political party like the teaparty or just another Karl Rove fantasy.. He's good at that shit he's running a campaign against a president that doesn't exist just a figment of his vivid twisted mind. President Obama certainly is not the President who the Rupugs are running against in the totally false accusations about Obama depicted in their political ads.. The big lie Karl Rove program worked for Bush lets hope people are wise to it this time and send those GOP liars packing..

I actually asked HR where I work why we don't have a pasty white guy history month like every other ethnicity has. Couple of weeks later they sent out an email about an Irish American Heritage event. lmfao

Oreo Pride: Rainbow-Stuffed Cookie Sparks Boycott

America’s favorite cookie is stirring up more than milk today after Kraft Foods posted a gay pride Oreo on the cookie’s Facebook page.

Oreo posted the photoshopped picture of an Oreo cookie stuffed with rainbow-colored layers of frosting Monday evening with the caption “Proudly support love!”

Over the past 17 hours more than 157,000 people have “liked” the image, 40,000 people have shared it and 20,000 have commented on it.

But while many of the comments were supportive, some Facebook users pledged to boycott the cookie because of the post.

“I’ll never buy Oreo again,” one commenter wrote.

“Disgusted with oreos,” wrote another. “Being gay is an abmonitation in GOd’s eyes i wont be buying them anymore.”

Basil Maglaris, a spokeswoman for Oreo’s parent company Kraft Foods, said in a statement that the image was part of a “series of daily ads reflecting current events in a fun way using images of OREO cookies and milk.” Kraft is not planning to sell the rainbow-stuffed Oreo in stores, Maglaris said, as it was created solely for the advertising campaign in honor of Pride month.

“We are excited to illustrate what is making history today in a fun and playful way,” she said in an email to ABC News. “As a company, Kraft Foods has a proud history of celebrating diversity and inclusiveness.  We feel the OREO ad is a fun reflection of our values.”

Other images in the Oreo ad campaign, which celebrates the cookie’s 100th birthday, include a parody of the No. 1 hit song “Call Me Maybe,” depicting an Oreo and glass of milk next to tweaked lyrics.

“I just met you and this is crazy, but here’s some milk so dunk me maybe,” reads the ad,  also posted to the Oreo Facebook wall.

Oreo is the latest in a string of juggernaut brands to show support for the LGBT community.

In honor of Pride month Target launched a line of gay pride t-shirts, and the proceeds went to support the Family Equality Council, a Washington D.C.-based gay rights advocacy group. The pride shirts sold out in less than a month.

Ben & Jerry’s, a longtime supporter of LGBT causes, renamed its apple pie flavor “Apple-y Ever After” in scoop shops throughout the U.K. in March, while the British government was debating legalizing same sex marriages.
The Vermont-based ice cream company re-vamped its peanut butter-filled pretzel flavor in 2009 when same sex marriage was being legalized in Vermont, swapping the “Chubby Hubby” name for “Hubby Hubby.”

You guys need to seriously let the gay marriage thing go.

thats how it is every time with the intelectually challenged. you know mental midgets like fk, tahoe and tampon. Not able to under stand that because like people group togethor along racial or ethnic lines that it is not in and of its self racist. But this is the reason dipshits like these 3 aholes see to claim some percieved form of inverted racism.

In other words "they do it and its ok but if we do it why is it not ok?"  How about if its not ok for anyone to do it?  That is just too tough of a concept for the trio of dumbdumdom to concieve. How about if they are all members, of congress period? How about if you are just people, period?   errrrr  OK nevermind. You are not just people you 3 are racist assholes...nevermind.

the good part is soon your kind will all be talking the dirt nap. some sooner than others. Good ridance.

I love how you progs use the word "repugnican" and nobody nobody cares but when people shorten the word progressive to "prog", all the sudden you progs freak out like you have just been called the n-word. To a libertarian or a Republican, being called a "repugnican" feels like it does when you are white and someone calls you a honky. You laugh at the person saying it and go about your business. I love how all the progs get all bent out of shape and offended when they are called an abbreviated form of the word progressive. You guys are a sensitive bunch.

I have to disagree with you somewhat.

First, as long as there is a need to seperate people by color for any purpose, there is underlying racism. We aren't black, yellow, white, or green ...we are all humans.

Second, when you DO seperate people by color but discriminate which groups get the preferential treatment, it is blatant racism. The black caucus in an example of that because the second a bunch of white people tried to do the same thing, Sharpton and Jackson would be all over it crying foul. Why do groups like the New Black Panthers get away with making death threats, but if equally racist groups like the KKK do the same thing, then people WILL go to jail. Both groups are equally bad and equally idiotic, but there is definite preferential treatment for one over the other.

Interesting. I see idiots like tpab call anyone and everyone who disagrees with them about even a single thing a 'prog'. I have seen you do it as well more than once. Maybe try attaching the label to actual progressives instead of using it as a general term for people who disagree with you. Even calling a liberal a progressive is blatantly wrong. They are two different things. I honestly think you idiots are too stupid to know any better.

Oh ...and don't group libertarians with republicans. They are a far far far better class of people.

The majority of America voted for a black man for President and if he loses then the majority of Americans will vote a black man out of office. It will be because of his record and because of his misplaced priorities, not because of the color of his skin. Obama's poor record as President didn't create more racists. If you fire a black or latino employee, who had a proven record of poor performance, does that automatically make you a racist? He hasn't been dealt the easiest hand but neither was Bush. Did Bush make one mention about how 9/11 would have never been a problem if Clinton had responded to the USS Cole bombings and taken Bin Laden, when offered him? No. Pundits did but Bush never blamed Clinton. Right now we have no organization in Washington and it doesn't appear that Obama has any well-defined plan to move the country forward. It feels like he is waiting and hoping. Between trying to force Obamacare through and campaigning for half of his Presidency, he just hasn't had the bandwidth to deal with that pesky economy.

Libertarians have much more in common with Republicans than they do with Dems. Fiscally, Libertarians tend to be further to the right than the Republicans. Socially, they feel that, regardless of what they believe is right or wrong, that it should be left up to the individual and their family to decide, not the government. I tend to agree that social issues should be dealt with at home and not by big government. Very few Libertarians or Republicans are going to jump fence to support a Lib or Progressive and the ones who would probably didn't really know what they believed in the first place.

That's BS:

In a speech on Aug. 30, 2005, Bush said that three out of his four predecessors - excluding his father - didn't respond sufficiently to crises, which emboldened terrorists and led to 9/11:

They looked at our response after the hostage crisis in Iran, the bombings of the Marine barracks in Lebanon, the first World Trade Center attack, the killing of American soldiers in Somalia, the destruction of two U.S. embassies in Africa, and the attack on the USS Cole. They concluded that free societies lacked the courage and character to defend themselves against a determined enemy. ... After September the 11th, 2001, we've taught the terrorists a very different lesson: America will not run in defeat and we will not forget our responsibilities.
