If George Zimmerman is not arrested in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin soon, theRev. Al Sharpton will call for an escalation in peaceful civil disobedience and economic sanctions.

Sharpton would not say the efforts would be taken against the city of Sanford specifically, but he has been critical of the police department's handling of the case.

The civil rights activist and syndicated television show host said he will elaborate on this plan Saturday.

Seems to me that things could get dicy either way. I feel like Zimmerman should be arrested for something along the lines of manslaughter and then have it decided by the courts. But lets say he goes to court and is then found not guilty. The riots and unrest will probably be much worse than if we did nothing at all.

Sniper, it's called "mob rule" or "mob justice," and it's what's come to be expected as an accessory to the Obama Administration. If the Clown had any class, he'd be calming down the fires; instead, he's injected himself stage-center ("He could have been my boy") as if setting himself up to be some kind of anorexic MLK leading his flock across the parted sea.

Sharpton's in town...that's an economic sanction all by itself.

I guess Sharpton doesn't get the irony of leading a mob demanding an arrest. Demanding a fair investigation is one thing.  Demanding an arrest before the investigation is complete and the grand jury hearing held is a proverbial lynching.  Sharpton is almost as a big a tool as Tahoeshiphreak.

I am watching some of the coverage of this march in Sanford on News 13 and I do not get how the speakers keep getting away with implying that Zimmerman is an Anglo saxon white male. Do they honestly believe that or do they just think that if they repeat it enough that people will believe it? Is it that they think they can't get the same outrage if they accurately refer to Zimmerman as a Hispanic American? Any idiot can tell the guy is hispanic and to say otherwise just makes you look ignorant. If he were white no ody would have any issue with the characterization but i have a big problem with the reason behind why they are calling a self-identified Hispanic man "white" because these people are using a false characterization on purpose to fan the flames of racism. If Zimmerman had won a Nobel Peace Prize, would they be referring to Zimmerman as a white male or would they say he is Hispanic? If Zimmerman is white then Barrack Obama is not the first black president of the United States, he is just another white president.
