What parent in thier right mind sends thier kid out on the street alone while he is suspended from school for suspected drugs? He was on the way home from the store with candy and iced tea. His dad allowed him to go to the store and there's no indication that he deviated from that trip, until Zimmerman got after him. On the street? He was in transit between the store and his house, on foot and unarmed. You might have a point if Zimmerman had actually intervened in a crime of some sort. ------------------------- ... |

That's right: If Zimmerman hadn't been out on the street, the kid wouldn't have attacked him. A bit Kafka-esque, but then most ideas the prog-libs come up with are. |

Trayvon's leaked emails and this week's People Magazine paint a pretty non-thuggish picture.
People has a photo of him snowboarding, says he liked skateboarding, was interested in aeronautics and was looking into colleges. --- One thing I am wondering about: If Trayvon's girlfriend was talking to him via cellphone just before it unfolded... She said it sounded like the phone dropped and then went dead. Dropping in the grass would not likely break the phone or disconnect a call. Dropping it on pavement only slightly more likely. If Trayvon were the attacker, wouldn't he likely have hung up first, and put the phone in his pocket? Another curiosity: what would happen if the NSA were secretly recording the call (or having Verizon/AT&T do it for them) without authorization, and that call contained the definitive evidence of what happened? Would they admit they were snooping, find some other excuse for how it got recorded and released, or sit on the evidence to protect themselves? ------------------------- That boy's got somethin' wrong with his medulla oblongata. |

The National Association for Legal Gun Defense wants to contribute $10,000 toward George Zimmerman's legal expenses, a member said today. The group represents gun owners involved in self-defense shooting cases, said attorney Blue Rannefeld of Fort Worth, Texas. Rannefeld said he has not been able to contact Zimmerman, 28, and is trying to reach Zimmerman's attorney, Craig Sonner of Altamonte Springs to make the group's offer of assistance. |

And the question is.. First - or second degree? Charge first & settle for second? I wonder if blacks will feel ('perceive') threatened if there is 'perceived' inaction, or 'travesty of justice', in this case.. Remember it's all perception - right? 'Stand your ground'.. Young black boys will now 'defend' themselves because they feel (and very justifiably so if there is no swift justice) 'threatened'. Just what is needed to distract us from the upcoming RNC Romney fofas in Tampa - x.. Who 'attending' on here ? Any Tampa RNC 'locals'? |
