That's a bit harsh, don't you think WG? I can't imagine what he or Martin's parents are going through. I very seriously doubt either of them are thinking clearly and shame on the media for harassing them and trying to get statements at a time like this.

I think WG and Georges father should trade places!

I have a keen appreciation for sarcasm, it just isn't as identifiable in text as with spoken word.
edit: There are certain boundries that should not be crossed and wishing ill on someone is well out of bounds, IMO. I don't think it's right of them to do it to you or anyone else. Having said that, I believe that you bring a lot of grief and verbal beatings on to yourself, by judging (or speaking out about) othes lifestyle, beliefs, etc. And I'm a firm believer of, 'if you can dish it out, you'd better be able to take it'. edit II: ....and not because of your personal religous beliefs, but kind of forcing them on others and saying they are going to hell because they don't hold the same beliefs as you. ------------------------- I AM IGNORANT of absolute truth. The people on this forum do this exact crap, regularly.....
Furthermore someone calling George Zimmermans father an idiot for standing by his son is himself an idiot. Especially when it is readily apparent that the son is innocent to the average person (with the IQ of a turnip). The worst case scenario would be to give the guy the benefit of the doubt until an investigation is complete! Naaaaaa....not the morons on this forum! These morons can call me whatever they like. I will still call them on there crap...every time! You forget worksux....I have been here for a long time. I know whats what...and who's who. I would expect someone with a broken nose and lacerations to have a dressing of some sort applied to the wound. I don't see that or any other evidence in the video. It"s for a jury to decide, but it makes me question Zimmerman"s story.

The only thing I've heard Obama say about the case is the Trayvon could very well look like his son, or something to that affect. I don't see anything hateful in that, has he said something else? As far as Sharpton, Jackson, et al., he's right, IMO. They make a handsome living out of making racial issues out of issues that aren't, and that to me is spreading the worst kind of hate. Not defending racist groups, but at least with them, they're honest about where they stand and don't try to push their agenda at the expense of people in need.

This whole situation is an example of our societies inability to communicate with each other. If Zimmerman was able to communicate to Trayvon that he was part of a neighborhood watch program and just wanted to make sure Trayvon wasn't up to no good (since the neighborhood had been plagued with recent robberies) and Trayvon was able to communicate that he was staying at a house in the neighborhood, this whole thing could have been avoided...... However, stereotypes (on the part of Zimmerman) and someone who didn't think he should be questioned as to what he was doing (Trayvon) led to a lack of communication that ended tragically.

Sorry, worksux, I wasn't suggesting that you were. My statement was my own and was wrong in every possible way. I have no idea whether any of that was true and, even if it was, he didn't deserve to die. Yet, that is exactly what some elements are doing with respect tp Zimmerman.
