"Conservatives, almost universally, feel like they get a bad rap on race. They catch heat when they point out improvements over the last several decades in race relations and in the material well being of minorities in America, even though those phenomena are real. They catch heat when they contend that government programs intended to help the poor have led to problems with dependency in minority communities, even though those critiques are sometimes correct. They catch heat when they criticize Affirmative Action, even when in some cases (as at the University of California) Affirmative Action was clearly disserving minority communities.
Why do conservatives catch such heat? It's probably because there is still so much racism on the Right to go alongside valid arguments on issues relating to race and ethnicity. Conservatives so often get unfairly pounded on race because, so often, conservatives get fairly pounded on race. And this is the Right's own fault, because conservatives are not serious about draining the swamp." forbes |

Seems to me the Left's the one with the "race problem," they being the gatherers in protest of every perceived white offense towards the black man. It's also the Left that wears the mantle of political correctness to the point of absurdity, even going so far as to strike words from text books that might offend those with the most tender sensitivites. You tell me: Are the crowds gathered for Tayvon Martin "righties" or "lefties?" Are the New Black Panthers conservatives, they with their "wanted dead or alive" posters and their reward for a vigilante "capture" of a man for whom no warrant has yet been issued And when did the Tea Party ever show itself to be racist? Meanwhile, example after example is there for all to see when it comes to the Attorney General "I can't charge my own people" Eric Holder of the U.S. DOJ, or when Black Caucus Democrat Congresswoman Maxine Water goes off on a paranoid rant about GOP racists in her broom closet. |

malo is part of the swamp ------------------------- "The Republican Party of Eisenhower and Rockefeller has vanished, and in its place has come a hard-right, anti-government, socially conservative, economically extreme-liberal party that somehow manages to convey a combination of callousness and nastiness almost as a matter of pride." |

You know what really troubles me? I can't spot the racists on the Right. I mean, where's the Tea Party, where's the radical right racist militias? All I see are a bunch of black people --an awful lot of them Congressional and public figures-- calling everything "racist" and demanding justice at the end of a pitchfork, all of them screaming about "No justice, no peace!" I mean, where's the typical conservative, the supposed oppresspor of the dark-skinned and downtrodden? Why aren't they at the pulpit and before the microphones --and don't even get me started with the TV cameras-- calling for vengeance and retribution, hellfire and damnation? Instead, what you've got is a lot of racist motherf**kers stirring up race riots, with a political leadership (now *that's a f**king joke!) fanning the flames for political advantage ("He looks like he could be my son"). And their support base? It's not the Right, that's for sure, but rather the low-IQ, trailer park-trash, monosyllabic lefties. Edited: 04/01/2012 at 12:12 PM by MaloTurista |

More like the left has a 'race baiting' problem. Sick of the left always trying to divide the nation on equality.
The left isn't helping the poor by keeping them on welfare and housing. Get a life, WG. Edited: 04/02/2012 at 12:07 PM by ograbac |

Don't forget NBC blatently hacking apart the phone conversation between Zimmerman and the police. They made Zimmerman look like he made a racist comment to stir the left for their agenda. More work from the cronies on the left.
